What this means is the Mustang is very portable and has the perfect size for your room, garage, or living room. However, the Mustang I V2 shines at low and medium outputs and starts to get muddy at higher outputs, like most solid-state amps out there. If you want a quality sound on louder volumes, you should go for the bigger Mustang amps. In fact, Leo Fender actually started building amps before moving into the manufacturing of guitars. The Fender Mustang is If you’re planning to use the FUSE software and already have some experience editing music, this is a great option for you.

Presets are easily edited with the knobs on the face of the amp, and then saved with the Save button on top. All the time and effort goes into cramming it full of features, but not bothering to make the speaker actually sound adequate. This is usually the reason why I tell people to save a little longer and buy a Boss Katana 50, which has a ton of features and houses a decent 12″ speaker.There are 24 fully customizable factory presets that can all be accessed right on the amp.
