Only one bottle needed. CANNA Start is a complete one-part nutrient, meaning it contains all the needed elements in one bottle (no A and B versions needed)

Welcome to part 2 of our Ultimate Guide To CANNA Nutrients and Soils. In this article we will be sharing with you the official CANNA feeding schedules, along with details about their products and instructions on how to use them. CANNA COCO nutrients consist of two parts, an A part and a B part. We separate these parts for a reason. As it happens, if some of the elements in part A and B are thrown together at the same time, they clog together. The plant cannot absorb this. That's why you should first add the A component and then the B component. CANNA coco benefits include: CANNA Start gives you all the micro- and macro nutritional elements for a seedling or cutting to develop into a strong healthy plant. When preparing your nutrient solution be careful not to mix them together in their concentrated form. Add each part of your nutrient schedule to your tank separately, mixing thoroughly before adding the next component to the mix.The amounts of calcium and phosphate that have to be present for the nutrient to do its job properly are quite high. When you put such highly concentrated elements in one bottle they will conflict with each other sometimes resulting in a slimy residue of sorts. The design problem is: your plants still need both elements and they need them in large amounts, in spite of their conflict. COCO A and COCO B Canna also offers a 100% organic line for those who prefer growing organically, this line not only doesn't harm the environment but also provides everything at just the right amounts to avoid harming your plant either by under or overfeeding. Just like inorganic fertilisers, organic fertilisers have their own long list of advantages when it comes to growing high-quality cannabis. These products don’t just feed plants, but they nourish the very soil within which plants grow. You see, a healthy soil is teeming with beneficial life forms such as many different species of bacteria, fungi, nematodes, and protozoa. Coco fibre typically contains little calcium and even less phosphate; on the other hand it does hold a lot of potassium compared to other growing mediums. These are just some of the nutrients plants need but they are not present in the proper amounts in coco coir to meet the needs of your plants. For this reason CANNA Research developed a COCO nutrient that supplements the CANNA COCO medium to exactly what the plants need. It is quite obvious that when using COCO medium, lots of calcium and phosphate and very little potassium need to be added to the coco, and this is exactly what the CANNA COCO nutrient line contains.

CANNABOOST is CANNA’s bloom booster. It has a high energy content, contains little sugar and no added plant hormones. This flower booster improves the health and metabolism rate of crops and is specially designed for short cycle plants. The mixing ratio is between 20 to 40 ml of CANNABOOST per 10 Litres of water. However, just because you don’t have to pay as much attention to your soil doesn’t mean you should neglect it entirely. Selecting the right growing medium can help you make the most out of your inorganic fertilisers. Including good amounts of clay and organic matter in your containers or raised beds will help to prevent them from leaching right out. Why? Because both of these substances feature a net negative charge, and many plant nutrients are cations with a positive charge. This means that soils higher in clay and organic matter are able to hold onto these nutrients, meaning these growing mediums have a superior cation exchange capacity. Canna Terra PK 13/14 is CANNA’s PK flower booster. It contains pure phosphorus and potassium in very high concentrations. PK 13/14 ensures stronger cell formation and the production of enough sugars in the blooming stage. The mixing ratio is max 15 ml of PK 13/14 per 10 Litres of water. To prevent the accumulation of phosphate and potassium, apply the product for the duration of one week. The best time to use it is 3-4 weeks before harvesting. Find out more about when to use CANNA PK 13/14 here. Use the Canna Coco feed chart below is used once you switch your lighting to 12 hours per day. Continue to water to 15-20% runoff to prevent nutrient salt buildup. The chart below is based on 5 gallons of water. The full Canna Coco nutrient line includes A and B, Cannazym, Rhizotonic, Boost, and PK 13/14.

The Canna feeding chart is based on an 8-week flowering strain. The length of flowering for your specific strain may vary between 6-14 weeks. Most Indica hubrids for indoor growing are 8-9. You’ll need to modify your feed schedule a bit if you’re growing a longer-running strain. Thanks to the special characteristics of coco substrate Canna Coco doesn’t have a Vega and Flores variant, but there is one unique formulation for both the growth and blooming phase. Canna can’t make things easier! Canna Coco is easy to use, dissolves directly and is extremely suitable for growing in all watering systems, like for example 'run-to-waste' systems, flood systems and ebb and flow systems. CANNA Calcium – is a calcium fertiliser used to fix calcium deficiency or as a supplementary nutrient to stimulate growth. Calcium influences growth hormones, stabilises the cell wall, and regulates the transport of nutrients and water in the crops.

Akhtar feels that the resulting compound may be an advance in pain management. “What’s interesting about the molecules in cannabis is that they actually stop inflammation at the source,” Akhtar told The Star. “And most natural products don’t have the toxicity that’s associated with over-the-counter pain relief drugs, which, even though they’re very effective, do come with health risks. So, looking at natural products as an alternative is a very attractive model.” The beneficial enzymes in CANNAZYM convert dead root growth into minerals and sugars, transforming them into bioavailable nutrients that help feed the plant. Dead roots are the perfect breeding ground for detrimental mold and bacteria, so by speeding up the decomposition process the risk decreased. The mix of more than 12 different enzymes and vitamins with extracts from desert plants helps boost the plant’s natural defenses and hormone production capabilities. CANNAZYM promotes the accelerated growth of new roots and helps ward off many harmful bacteria and mold. If you are looking to reuse your growing medium (like with no-till farming) CANNAZYM is an indispensable tool. How and When to UseLighting continues for 18 hours per day during this stage. Once roots are established stronger lights such as Metal Halide can be used. Mother plants will stay on this feeding schedule continuously. Canna Coco A&B is to be used during the vegetative and flowering phases as it contains ingredients that ensure that the essential nutrients will be released by the substrate. These are the nutrients that the plant need to grow faster and stronger throughout its life cycle.
