This was my very first perfume that I picked out for myself completely by myself after sampling many. I don’t get either of those from it— I think it smells like good salon shampoo and like a tropical cocktail on a nice summery day in the South.

It’s still a beautiful fresh, floral, aquatic fragrance but as soon as I took it out of the box to smell it I could tell right away it’s been reformulated which makes me sad.However, shortly after I reluctantly put it on this morning, the sweetness and freshness started to come through. Curious by Britney Spears is a soft, sensual white floral scent that combines Louisiana magnolia, golden Anjou pear and dewy lotus flower with a bouquet of natural flowers on a base of musk, vanilla and precious woods.

Britney Curious Eau de Parfum is an exhilarating floral fragrance, inspired by sweet Louisianan magnolia paired with a sweet vanilla musk. I remembered liking it when testing it years ago, but it has a heavy, screechy magnolia, and I remember Curious being so much better. I think this is much better quality than many reviews would suggest, but it’s not modern smelling as things have gone rather sweet and gourmand in the years since this one was released (most of Britney’s scents included!But one day, I had an idea - I have an old bottle of Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy, which I also don't adore, because to me it smells just like cheap caramel lollipop.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to send to France, Germany, Norway, Slovakia or Sweden due to customs regulations. I would wear this to the gym, it would be perfect for it as it very inoffensive, very very light, fresh with a bit of sweetness, not a specific scent. Britney Spears' Curious is a lively, bright and effervescent fruity floral, aimed at twentysomethings with attitude. Though my collection is small I rotate what I use pretty frequently to avoid getting tired of any of them, and Curious is no exception - I purposefully haven't allowed it to become my signature scent so I can continue to love it for years to come.

As it is, it has an alcoholic hairspray vibe with tons of jasmine; not the shampoo-fresh, aquatic delight that I fell in love with all those years ago. I love this SO much, I don't see anyone talking about this as much as Britney's other perfumes which is beyond disappointing to me. I remember the pear, jasmine, lotus and magnolia blending beautifully and the dry down held those notes with a little added musk.

L'Instant de Guerlain plays up the voluptuous, creamy white-floral aspects of magnolia, with a touch of animalics.
