All you need to do is mix it with Elmer's white or clear glue (sold separately) - it's truly and simply magical! HULK Inspired Slime – just mix green tinted glue, the slime activator AND black glitter for this superhero sticky concoction! We highly recommend storing it in an airtight container for best results, but even then, we’ve found the that best slimes have a shelf life of about a week. Once you have a springy texture, tip the mixture out and work it with your hands a bit to firm it up more. Grab yourself a Slime Starter Kit which contains Elmer's products - including the magical liquid, glitter glue and clear glue.

Slime made with Elmer’s Magical Liquid will be similar in texture to slime made with contact solution and baking soda. Gently mix the two ingredients together with a spoon, the more magical liquid you add the less sticky and more ‘slime’ like the mixture becomes. It really is a very quick and easy process as you only have to use these two ingredients to make your slime.I’m sure the Elmer’s Glue folks are laughing all the way to the bank with whatever magical solution this is, but kudos to them because it is so much fun! Oli and I have each made our own attempts at slime but no matter what ingredients we used (fairy liquid, baking soda, contact lenses solution) we could never create anything that looked remotely like the photos on Pinterest.

We suggest mixing an additional 1 tablespoon at a time until the slime reaches the desired consistency. We are simply huge slime fans and wanted to try out a new slime activator we saw and share the results with you in case you want to try it too. With the Elmer’s Glue Slime Magical Liquid Activator, all you need to do is pour the entire contents of a bottle of Elmer’s school glue in a large mixing bowl and add 1/4 cup of the magic solution. Because we like a non-sticky slime, we usually end up adding an additional 1/4 cup, making it 1/2 cup magical liquid in total. There’s no need to mix up multiple ingredients, which means there are fewer variables and fewer chances to make mistakes. I was thinking about making these as party favors, so I’d like to get a jump start on it …but I don’t want them to stop glowing! I just wanted to share real quick a tip and shoutout to this “magic solution” that will make your SLIME making super easy from here on out! With this fluffy slime, the slime is never as fluffy as it is on that first day so enjoy that extra fluffiness when you first make it!

We added lots of glitter to our slime and because Leo insisted in putting in all the colours, we ended up with a funny purple/blue slime, it looked like an alien brain! If you don’t have magical liquid, add 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 1/2 -2 tablespoons contact lens solution to the bowl. As I mentioned above, we’ve tried the slime recipes made with contact lens solution and those contact lens slime recipes just aren’t my favorite. All you need to do is find a cute jar to put it in and tie a little ribbon or add a fun sticker to the top and voila, you have an adorable homemade party favor girls will love! Once you make this girly slime, be sure to take it outside and watch the glitter catch all the light. We’ve said it before, but once you start making slime for your kids, you’re not going to want to stop! While I still love the “science experiment” aspect of mixing up slime recipes with multiple ingredients, if you want the easiest glow in the dark slime recipe, this is it! Finding the right slime recipe for you is a bit of a science experiment in itself, but this homemade fluffy slime recipe wins out every time because with just a few ingredients (three cheers for affordable elmer’s glue!

And if you’ve made a lot of slime in your house too, then you’ve likely experienced some slime fails like us. Keep reading to see how we made our 2-ingredient glow in the dark slime, plus our verdict on Elmer’s Magical Liquid! We started with 1/4 cup Elmer’s Magical Liquid, but found that we actually ended up using closer to 1/2 cup to keep slime from sticking to hands. I’ve shared quite a few of our edible slime recipes, but here’s one that is a favorite for holidays, it’s a really fluffy slime and in this case, a fluffy slime recipe that is perfect for fall because it’s a wonderful orange color and also happens to be super easy to make.

Be sure to make sure that you’re playing with your glow in the dark slime in an area that is easy to clean up, with non-stick surfaces. Stacey is the creator of The Soccer Mom Blog, a Houston Texas mom blog that focuses on positive living for women and families.
