Sean John's fragrances are produced in collaboration with M.A.C., an Estee Lauder company. The first Sean John fragrance, men's Unforgivable, was launched in 2006. I have tried this perfume while I was searching a b.day gift for my aunt who is going to be middle of 30s. After the testing, I gotta say this perfume, is strongly recommended for women who are in their late 20s at least and above. (It is very mature scent, that was my opinion when I sniffed it)

The heart of Unforgivable Woman is so odd, yet so appealing. I can smell a minty note mixed with fresh, green leaves and a hint of spiciness. This combination had me hooked and I couldn't help smelling my wrist every couple of minutes to see whether the fragrance had developed further. Sean Combs is a multi-Grammy-award winning recording artist and record producer responsible for some of the largest-selling hip-hop recordings of the late 1990s and early 21st century. He established his own record label, Bad Boy Records, in 1993, whose most successful artist after Combs himself is the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. In addition to his own success as a recording artist, Combs has produced records for a series of successful artists including Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Usher and Aretha Franklin. Then I was struggling with another bright, citrus & white floral fragrance which was just too sharp for me, and I was beginning to hate it. So I spritzed some of this on the top, and WOW! It was probably 2007 or 2008, and i had already smelled sean johns unforgivable, and thought it was the sexiest fragrance that i had ever smelled to date.Unforgivable is very verstatile. It is light enough to be a day scent but the booze makes it a bit more of a night scent to my nose. It can be worn virtually any season too, well at least in Arizona. I find it can be worn for night dates fairly easily and may work for close encounters. I wouldn't say skeleton key since it is not a club banger. The scent lasts just about a work-day at about 7/8 hours before dying off. It projects for about an hour/hour and a half, at a pretty good moderate sillage. Let's face it, most male fragrances aren't super-strong in sillage, especially during summer.

The dry down comes closer to MI but still has the warmer citrus note coming through with sandalwood and tonkabeen. The ad was banned by US ad watchdog the Federal Communications Commission, but has been approved by the UK's Broadcast Advertising Clearance Centre to run after the 9pm watershed. Unforgivable is citrusy opening scent that projects really good that dies off into a great boozy base. The citrus open is highlighted by the somewhat metallic tangerine and green mandarin with some hints of bergamot. The base however is a strong rum scent with a little bit of cashmere and a slight tonka bean and sandalwood base. The mid is rather unrecognizable to me nose for some reason but that is entirely fine.Unforgivable has a warmer citrus scent and the opening is way different compared to MI (I own batch CM3318K01). WoW this is definitely not a scent for me.I have to say that the top notes were utterly horrid with this blend of florals.I am not sure which notes throw it off for me but even my husband was like...Uhhh what did you just spray???Please Dont do it again! The sandalwood notes are combined with tree fruit and floral in a way that is very reminiscent of Ellen Tracy/Ellen Tracy to my nose—which is one of my favorites.

So, let me get this straight, just because some folks don't agree with him (or her), they are wrong? This is all supposed to be subjective, numb-nuts! Your opinion is no more right than mine! Sheesh, some people! I would like to say that it was just bad with my chemistry but I am afraid that that isn't the truth.I just feel that this blend is very ""off"" & very synthetic.It also smells very similar to another scent but I cant remember which one at the moment.It is the floral that smells similar to something else but the rest of this mixture is all on its own. Citrusy-fruity heaven. This scent is one of the most versatile scents I own. It's perfect for the gym. It's perfect for the office. It's perfect for lounging around the house, going out with friends, clubbing, anything really. After coming into some money i decided to splurge on it, now i have no idea where i got it from, but i have a vague memory of walking into my local dimly lit department store (macys, dillards, MAYBE jcpennys) fragrance area and asked for a bottle landing myself a sweet little 1.7oz bottle (not knowing there was a bigger bottle) and feeling on top of the world, this was going to be my signature scent. First of all, although it's a banger for the quality and price, this fragrance was never a powerhouse.

Longevity and projection was (and still is) anything from 3-6 hours, which is good for a fragrance of this calibre. Sean John Unforgivable is so smooth that it weaves its way in and out of the crowd without a care, yet lingers long enough for people to take notice and wonder who and where this classy aroma came from.

The (according to this supermarket) prestigious Can Can by Paris Hilton. I took in the scent just to see if I was wrong and it really was worth 70 USD.I am disappointed because I expected something Pretty good from P Ditty.You know, with all his high class bling & clothing I figured his scent would be as top notch as everything else he does. The ad, which has been made in 20-, 30- and 60-second versions, features the rapper meeting a beautiful woman in a hotel lobby. She eventually ends up in lingerie as the duo have a whirlwind affair. I love MI and use it pretty much as a daily during summer. Was hoping for Unforgivable to be that close indeed so I would have a cheaper daily and use MI for the more special occasions.
