AC adapter (), Music stand, Stand (for use with B2SP only) with pedal unit (supports half-pedaling), Owner’s Manual The knob, however, it feels a little bit cheap because it doesn’t have much resistance, but at least precise volume changes are possible.

Static noise from the speakers is pretty common in audio equipment (I’ve received similar comments about many other digital pianos). The noise is most likely coming out of the internal amplifier used to power the speakers. I also like the look and the angel of the music rest because it makes the reading sheet music comfortable. The other pieces of software included are the Korg Module LE and the Korg Gadget LE. I haven’t yet tried these out, so you’ll have to see for yourself! Connectivity Stand (STB1-BK/WH), 3 pedal unit (PU-2)*, PC 550-BK/WH, PC 770-BK/WH, PC 300-BK/WH, JS-SB100-BK/WH adjustable height benchesHere is why I say it is good for beginners and intermediate players because this piano has a mode called Partner Mode, which splits the keyboard into two halves, and each having the same key range.

However, the limited functionality of the B1 remains and is a massive downside to the B2, especially since other digital pianos have nearly standardized these extras. So, I recommend you upgrade the pedal since half-pedaling support is important for playing the piano. Yamaha P45 – Great mix of piano and other sounds with good sounding speakers, sturdy build quality. Many upgrades to the B2 feel like Korg playing “catch up” rather than innovating, which is sad. We praised the Korg B1, but it’s 2019. Since the competition is sprinting ahead, it’s hard to recommend an ‘upgrade’ that only brings the bare minimum to the table. Korg furthermore disclaims all responsibilities for direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damages caused by the use of or the inability of using the Third Party Software (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages in advance.

The reverb adds some subtle ambience to the sound. Combined with the natural reverb in most of the presets, this makes the sound feel like it’s in a large room. These keys include escapement, triple-sensors, and also synthetic ivory key surfaces, making them feel excellent and a joy to play. Essentially, if I were to play one key three times in a row, the B2 has a chance of triggering different samples each time, recreating the experience of playing a real piano, where no two notes ever sound the same. It is better to compare Korg B2 to Roland FP 10 which are same class devices. The price for these two is similar, and personally I would choose FP 10 if I were choosing between them. As I mentioned in the article I liked FP 10 for more natural keyboard and piano sound, it also offers a little more voices.Headphones come in very handy when you want to practice in private, focusing solely on your playing and not disturbing others nearby. The B2 and B2SP use Korg’s NH ( Natural Weighted Hammer Action) keyboard, which is identical to the keys of the previous B1 series.
