It didn’t stop there, though. She got her first cookbook published in 2021, called “How to Make Anything Gluten Free”, and it contains more than a hundred recipes for all of the things that gluten-free people miss out on. Drain any excess oil, fat or liquid from your beef mince if using a higher fat percentage mince. It can make everything a bit soggy, so I usually just carefully pour it into a heatproof jug and discard it. I feel that, in the current climate, this question couldn’t be more relevant! So here’s my hard sell:

Yes! I’ve clearly labelled whenever a recipe is suitable for vegetarians or vegans. If it isn’t veggie/vegan to start with, I’ve also included instructions on how to adapt it, if possible. We’ve been eating a lot more meat-free meals at home, so tons of the savoury recipes (especially) are a doddle to adapt using plant-based alternatives. Will the book have low FODMAP recipes in it? What about lactose-free? Whilst some recipes in this book do use onion, as I can’t tolerate it myself, you’ll find that those recipes always have an easy substitute. Beef mince: Ideally use a lean beef mince or lots of fat will come off it and make everything a little soggy, but if using a higher fat mince, you can always drain it from the pan. Simply use grated dairy-free cheese instead of mozzarella to make this recipe dairy-free. Can I make your one-pot unstuffed peppers recipe veggie or vegan? If you’re dairy-free, lactose-intolerant, low FODMAP, vegetarian or vegan, there’s a TON of tips on how to adapt my recipes to be friendly to all of the above, if possible. I always want my recipes to be as accessible to as many people as possible!

Gluten-free Coronation Quiche Recipe

Best of all, because it’s naturally gluten-free, that means no expensive free from products! So that’s what I’ve been channeling here on the blog for the most part lately and I hope you’ve been enjoying them. I feel like they’re an essential part of anyone’s meal plan: gluten-free or not! One-pot unstuffed peppers recipe: What you’ll need…

Yes! If using turkey mince, ensure it’s turkey thigh mince or it’ll get way too dry. Lamb mince works well too. Is this a healthy recipe? Spices: For this recipe you’ll need smoked paprika, dried oregano, cumin, cayenne pepper and dried chilli flakes. It contains 80+ recipes that, in my opinion, are absolutely essential to a joyous gluten-free Christmas and nothing more. 99% of these recipes are brand new, something I always strive to do whenever writing any book, as giving my readers value for money is very high on my priority list! As lactose-free is a big part of the low FODMAP diet, you’ll also find that lots of the recipes indicate whether they’re lactose-free or low lactose too. And yet another HUGE thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far!

Gluten-free Pumpkin Pie Recipe

This experience was followed by a decade of ups and downs which involved trying (and often failing) to reclaim all the festive foods that were suddenly placed on ‘Santa’s naughty list’. To be honest, I’d stopped looking forward to Christmas altogether. Yes, I had become the gluten-free Grinch! This took *a lot* of work and recipe testing, but I’m so pleased that I invested the time to do so! My boyfriend is lactose-intolerant, so you’ll find that almost the entire book is friendly towards being dairy-free. Does the book have vegan/veggie recipes in it? But out of the blue, people started visiting those posts on my blog, making my recipes and sending me photos of their creations. Like… what?! But it made me so happy to think I’d helped to reunite people with food that they really missed. So I kept doing exactly that. It’s the ultimate all-in-one meal that’s so easy to make, it barely feels like you’re actually cooked at all. Plus, there’s only the one pot to wash! One-pot unstuffed peppers recipe: Frequently Asked Questions Can I make this recipe gluten-free? Is it suitable for Coeliacs? This book is 80% savoury recipes and 20% sweet treats, desserts and bakes. It’s essentially a similar ratio to my first book, with a focus on everyday, beginner-friendly recipes that you can use again and again.

Seven 30-minute (or less) chapters and two lazy chapters (5-20 minutes of effort, then you can relax while they bake/cook).Though I’m not opposed to going all out at Christmas, this recipe book doesn’t use tons of super expensive ingredients. It just isn’t in my nature as a home cook and baker! Ensure your garlic-infused oil doesn’t have any actual bits of garlic floating in it (the one in Tesco is safe, but sadly the one in Aldi is not, for example) Whether you’re a complete beginner to baking and cooking or a whizz in the kitchen, this book has got you. I like to think that all my recipes are down-to-earth, humble and accessible and this book is no different. As lactose-free is a big part of the low FODMAP diet, you’ll also find that lots of the recipes indicate whether they’re lactose-free or low lactose, or how to adapt the recipes to be suitable too. And yet another HUGE thank you to everyone who’s supported me so far! And the madness didn’t stop there. In 2021, my first ever cookbook ‘ How To Make Anything Gluten Free‘ was published! It contains over 100+ recipes for ALL the things that gluten-free people always miss out on.
