M41) - A Great Harlequin wins the Commorrite Dance of the Blinding Blade, fighting with impossible speed and skill. This is the most comprehensive Aeldari codex ever, and unlike the Laughing God, we’re not joking around. These macabre warriors take sardonic pleasure in fighting alongside the Players of the Reaper's Mirth as they enact their performances of genocide and horrific destruction. Millennia have passed since the ancient Aeldari fell into shadow, yet still the memory of their glory burns bright.

This rule opens up a whole barrel of laughs (and options) for your army, as on top of the mandatory Troops and HQ choices, a Patrol Detachment has two slots each for Elite, Fast Attack, and Heavy Support units. Each of the Masque's mythic plays has a battlefield counterpart, known as the Saedath or Masque Form. This baleful weapon, one of the Croneswords of Morai-Heg, has a heavy curse upon it and once removed from its stasis chamber within the Shrine of Ulthanash, it cannot be set aside before death. They tumble, sprint and leap with beautiful agility, every squeeze of the trigger and slash of a blade bringing death to the enemy.Penned in inks of light and shadow, these words present a slender hope, detailing an intricate, galaxy-spanning performance with the potential to change the fate of the Aeldari race.

A Harlequin masque unleashed upon the battlefield is a thing of boundless fury and mind-boggling precision, the ultimate melding of cold, alien wrath and preternatural agility. In the wake of their disappearance or destruction during the War in Heaven against the Necrons and their C'tan masters, the Old Ones left the care and use of the Webway to their Aeldari creations, who used it for millennia to tie together their great empire. These enigmatic warriors are often credited with supernatural powers, and many amongst both Asuryani and Drukhari society believe that the Harlequins know most, if not all, of the secret paths through the endless maze of the Webway. Whether the Laughing Circus was destroyed during the battle or managed to escape back into the Webway is unknown.Neatly sidestepping the constraints of mission packs, this rule allows you to add a Detachment of Harlequins to any Aeldari army, as if a poised Patrol of perilous pierrots had put in an unexpected appearance on the battlefield. First, four Mimes, appearing as daemons who pass their sensual and disturbing movements to the rest of the dancers.

Chaos tyrants, Space Marine commanders, Tau Ethereals and Ork Warlords are all among those who have fallen under the flashing blades of the Weeping Dawn.M41) - Furious battle erupts in the twilight realm of the Webway as Chaos Space Marines of the Thousand Sons legion fight their way to within sight of the Black Library. Travelling Players will allow anyone with existing Harlequin armies to supplement them with more straightforward Asuryani or Drukhari forces, it’s easier than ever to find a place in your collection for some of the wildest and most acrobatic miniatures in the Aeldari range. Every tactic they implement is a counterpart to the mythic plays, known as a saedath, a battlefield plan with an allegorical edge.
