Mystical Fire is a good utility Fire-type move. In addition to the excellent 75 base power, this move also lowers the target's Sp. Atk stat by one stage. Note that Delphox is the bulkiest Blast Burn user right now, in a stark contrast to Blaziken. Only Incinerate and Skeledirge out-bulk it.

It’s safe to use both indoors and out on wood burning fires and has an attractive slow burn that lasts up to an hour. Simply throw 1-3 sachets on the fire unopened and enjoy the memorable effects.

A Delphox appeared in Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, under the ownership of Merilyn. It is her main Pokémon, used to assist her in her thievery.Compared to its fellow starters, Delphox (Fire Spin/Blast Burn) is worse than Blaziken, but comparable or better than Emboar, and better than all other starters. Find targets that are singled out from their team when using Mystical Fire. This maximizes Mystical Fire's damage as well as ensure that it reduces its cooldown each hit, especially in a 1v1 duel. Leap Over Walls Delphox obtains this move by evolving from Braixen at level 6, and upgrading Ember into it instead of Fire Blast. It unleashes a special, hot ball of fire in a forward direction, and explodes if it hits an enemy, dealing damage to all targets in the area-of-effect.
