I have that opinion because in one book it contains a summary and expansion on good, accurate, improved dietary advice and the history of why we have been given bad advice for so long based on flawed research, forceful personalities, and suppressed / ignored research that disagreed with the so-called "experts" that I have read about in many other books over the past couple of years. Books by; Gary Taubes, John Yudkin, Robert Lustig, Jason Fung, Nina Teicholz, Timothy Noakes, and several others. And this book mostly agrees with those books and condenses the information into one volume. In recent years Ivor has continued his professional development by becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Project Management Professional (PMP); he also completed an Innovation and Entrepreneurial Management Certificate with Stanford University. In 2015 he was one of 6 candidates shortlisted from 500 for the title of Irish Chartered Engineer of the Year. Ivor lives in Dublin, Ireland, with his wife and five children. Dr. Gerber trained at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and graduated in 1986. At the end of each chapter there is a short story regarding real doctor Gerber's patients. Inspiring! This book is great for the curious and motivated person, but not necessarily scientific-knowledged, who wants to learn and apply low-carb/keto diets for its benefits in treating/reversing metabolic damage caused by Westernised diets. The authors fail to recognize the necessity of statins, niacin and Zetia to treat high CAC score or secondary cardiovascular disease or the very high ApoB of Familial Hypercholesterolemia
