I had sprayed this on my arm and I couldn't stop huffing it all evening, even lying in bed I was smelling my arm enveloped in nostalgia. By the morning the scent had weakened, but the DNA was still on my skin and it made me wake up happy.

Strongly recommend it if your credit is OK with the price because you’ll have to sell your leaver to get it 😂 In my opinion, Cool Water Intense is better for everyday use. And it’s more versatile than Cool Water and Cool Water Parfum. Value For Money Davidoff came with the parfum version of CW in 2021. This version of CW is smooth and delicious. And gathered so much love in a short time. Most importantly Cool Water has not a freaking spec of nauseating creamy heavy vanilla sweetness (Modern fragrances have made me lactose fragrant intolerant) It's sweetness is more an herbal oceanic sweetness that dances off all the other notes- a sweetness made by god, not man in a bakery. Cool Water, Cool Water Intense, and Cool Water Parfum are massively popular in the fragrance community. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing, the CW series will never disappoint you in the case of getting compliments. The “notes” (iris, verbena etc) are the same, but there is more clarity, depth, nuance, dynamics, and projection in the GIT. It is obviously a higher quality, and the notes resonate together in harmonic bliss. The CW version is unmoving and linear, while GIT will have you escape to another dimension; especially in the opening. this managed to evade me somehow all these years. I was curious about it, but never interested enough to buy the bottle. I even bought the intense flanker before it. I also tried the edp version before it as I bought it as a birthday present for my friend. hell, I even tried the Hot Water before it as I bought it to that same friend again, but received couple of free samples with it so I finally got the chance to try it.

This one for instance, was actually composed by the great Pierre Bourdon, who would go on to compose Cool Water, which this strongly resembles. Juniper berries, neroli, green and dark blue seawater. Like many other commenters, this is one I wore in my teens as it was affordable, but I've got to say - it holds up!Green Irish Tweed is my second favorite Creed of all time and my first ever niche fragrance, so it's a scent very dear and close to my heart. I recently got a fresh 2023 sample and did a side by side comparison with my 2014 bottle: I’m a big fan of anything that comes in a blue bottle, mostly because they usually have airy, water smells. But Cool Water is as close a classic as I can call a scent like this. It’s classy, it’s strong, and it always makes me take a moment to stop and enjoy it whenever my husband (and one of my older, married coworkers that happens to have it and use it on rare occasions) uses it and wow, I honestly can’t get over it at times. Now 150 is the top price I'd buy it for - the 240 is ridiculous. Bear in mind everything I say from now on is about a 150e fragrance. At first, it’ll give a citrusy blast, and later on, it’ll add spices to it. As a result, the opening becomes fantastic and fresh.

Though Cool Water and Cool Water Parfum gathered a lot of success, there are some controversial uses of notes. The base of Cool Water contains notes like tobacco, musk, e.t.c, which can be offensive for anyone. And the floral middle part is much louder. Cool Water will always try to make you feel refreshed, and people will love that energy a lot. Moreover, it’s more popular than those two.How are the new batches? I had to recently sell my 19P01 which I really enjoyed. I still have my vintage 2013/15/16s but tempted to buy a new bottle so I don't use those too much as I truly love them. I've brought some recent batches of Aventus, Himalaya and Bois Du Portugal. They're good but not as good as my older bottles. The magic of this fragrance is in the opening. it's very 3D-like and it takes you to a journey. It takes you to an irish country side that just rained. Wet, grassy, and added lemon verbena note and rounded with a touch of iris, absolutely stunning opening(very masculine as well). What I really think about Creed is most of their scents (not all of them) are very (very) similar. Someone calls it Trademark, and it's ok, but when it becomes the main ingredient the risk is it could turn to be a limit. dihydromyrcenol. You can go into a “green” freshwater direction (GIT, Aspen) or a blue saltwater direction (Cool Water). I have smelled and tested almost all of them and GIT is by far the best smelling fragrance and it probably does contain good quality naturals too. According to my research it also really was the first fragrance of that style, created of course by pierre bourdon, don’t get fooled by creed. If you smell them side by side GIT even smells quite different than CW not just of higher quality, but make no mistake: that note of dihydromyrcenol is always there and will trigger peoples MEMORY of cool water even though they are not that similar if you smell them side by side and are a fraghead. But for the average Joe it will be cool water because of that memory association he has with its main component: dihydromyrcenol.

A classic fougere. I see why it is so popular. Fresh, sporty, classy, sophisticated, bright, refreshing. From where do I begin? Is it since how long is the perfume launched or the smell of it or what exactly, I guess will start with how sophisticated the whole perfume from what it gives,

I love this, I will always love this but something changed somewhere along the line. It no longer gets the attention it once provoked out of people. It no longer gives that moment of nirvana. The opening flourish that greeted the nose like a fanfare of trumpets from heaven itself is gone. Okay, so if I can get away with wearing men’s fragrances, I usually do, but this is one that I definitely cannot pull off. my partner through this to me today and asked if I wanted it because he never wears it.
