Description

Fans can be mounted with 3 x 120mm in the roof plus 2 x 120mm in the side, bottom and front with space for 1 x 120mm in the rear.

A case that would accommodate the maximum number of water-cooling configurations without being oversized. Finally, the super fine mesh front, top and side panels act as a dust filter to keep the interior clean and prevent dust build-up which can block airflow. Managing to be just as successful as the original O11, the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini has been quite the popular case.

With these changes, I would argue that the O11 Air Mini isn’t the builder’s modular paradise the O11D Mini was, but rather a tidy, straight-forward ATX case, albeit with an unusual layout. The spacious interior allows for different fan or radiator configurations to maximize the cooling temperature. Multiple tie points and Velcro strap channels are provided to tidy up the cables while the SSD mounting bar helps keep the loose cables all snuggled up to ensure a clean look and prevent the right-side panel from not closing or bulging. The closest point of reference I have is the Lian Li O11 Dynamic I worked with two years ago in this EK custom loop build.

One of the key features of the O11 Air Mini is its transformation feature, which allows the case to be altered from an ATX case with 7 PCIe slots to a MATX case that features 5 PCIe slots. If you want to get your PC set up quickly the case comes preinstalled with 3 black PWM fans or you can create a wonderful light show if RGB fans are used. Constructed of steel instead of aluminium, the O11 Air Mini no longer retains the initial focus on ITX builds, evident in the case's larger footprint. Alternatively, when using larger fans there is space for 2 x 140mm installed in the top, bottom and front.

SuperFlower SF-PF121-BK (side Intake) x2, These were provided by superflower along with the PSU as samples for feedback, absolutely love them, super silent, felt super premium when I was building with them, and can be as high as 3300RPM for 151CFM. It still fit ATX boards, but could be modified to be a cooling-focused ITX board too, or anything in between. The VGA-Vertical Top Mode gives more clearance for fan installation in the bottom, with 60mm total clearance. If using a M-ATX motherboard, the bottom radiator can only be 240mm, but with ITX you can install up to a 280mm radiator. The spacious interior and clever modular system provide space for both air and AIO cooling setups in several different configurations. If there is no radiator on the side, an ATX motherboard with a width of up to 280 mm can be installed.

Despite these changes, the case has kept its cost reasonable, while its size remains relatively compact for an ATX case. This has a major influence on the selection of components: the smaller the motherboard, the more space is available for other components. The durable tempered glass allows for easy and carefree maintenance and for showing off the internal components.
