Although the ending did resolve Penny’s story, it did so very quickly and I would have liked just a few more chapters explaining what happened in a bit more detail.

Ella is that outsider, she becomes involved in Penny's life through looking after Jenna as well as working for Penny's new next door neighbour Kit.Although I did not have post-natal depression, I feel that this is a very realistic portrayal of how it must feel. Without giving anything away regarding Penny's past, let me just say that the unwelcome visitor annoyed me in many ways.
