When re-sealing lead make sure all old sealants are removed completely and any green mould or moss is treated with Everbuild 404 fungicidal wash. To ensure optimal performance, it is important to follow the recommended joint design. The joint should have a minimum width of 6mm, and for maximum movement accommodation, the depth should be no less than 5mm. Movement capacity will be impaired if the width is smaller than the depth.
