I’m going to make them regret the day they took me. If you know me, you know I’m not a fan of captivity books. So even I’m asking myself, why do you like this? Good question and the answer is ... I have no idea. But I do know that situation was handled very well, in a way that made it work. She’s a bird after all. Other than that, I did like this book but didn’t love it. It gets 3.5-stars from me. Now, will I try K.A. Knight’s other books? Yes, definitely. Other readers have loved this book so I will be recommending it. It is part of KU right now (as of 8/2022). Kenzo is the exhibitionist, sugar daddy type. He has the most sexual scenes with Roxy, and he’s also almost always involved in the group ones. Garrett is the restraint and choking one mostly due to his PSTD after being almost killed by an ex-fiance. The restraints were Roxy’s idea to help him not get triggered. Ok, this was kinda ok. And I rarely do edits on 3 star books but I kinda enjoyed doing this one so yea. So getting on things I didnt like..... It was great to have such a strong female main character; it is clear from the start that she is is totally on their wavelength, and it was inspiring to see how she knew herself and recognised what she wanted without chapters of flip-flopping.

Diesel is one crazy man. There is literally no other way to say it because in this case you have to call it like you see it, and even he would admit it. He gets off on people pain and loves to torture people. He’s the type of man who would bring you the appendage of an enemy to you as a gift after the enemy looked at you the wrong way. There is nothing in the world that scares him more than loosing his little bird. Garrett: he’s our incel. He had a really traumatic experience with a woman and instead of fixing his shit and going to therapy, he has now turned to ~misogyny~ Well I had great expectations for this book but it’s written in a way that would appeal to teenagers. Yes the story has a dark theme and graphic sex but it’s so juvenile. KA Knight is a bestselling paranormal romance author that was born and bred in a small little town in England. For the longest time she has dreamed of characters that have the ability to love several people in crazy creative stories. Den of Vipers is a dark romance reverse harem about villains who get the girl. There are a lot of triggers in this book. Violence, dark kinks, and sexually explicit scenes are throughout this entire book so if that’s not your thing I would steer clear Trigger Warnings

I don’t want to offend anyone, it’s okay to like what you like, but why the hell was this something people were recommending?? Out of all of the dark/taboo romances you could recommend, THIS is the one y’all are talking about 😭?? No one messes with the vipers!! we’re the vipers! The vipers strike, we will end them etc etc. There are a lot of repetitive words which give the impression the author has trouble articulating what’s in their head. She now has more than thirty five novels in the Lost Coven, Forbidden Reads, Their Champion, Fallen Gods, DawnBreaker, Forsaken Her Freaks, Her Monsters, Wild Boys, and Their Champion Companion. Roxy is kidnapped after being sold by her father to the Vipers, four men who pretty much 'run the town'. They have a rivalry with the Triad that really doesn't inject that much excitement into the story. There's some attempt at a plot in this, but the flawed writing prevented me from remotely enjoying it. His extremely affectionate and bold personality with his little bird when he wasn't getting down and freaky helped to offset his more extreme sexual proclivities helping to Showcase a much more human side to him, at least with his little bird. Diesel got Roxy right from the onset his eccentric madness almost stripping away at the usual artifice.

Publication Order of The Forsaken Books

The leader is suit wearing Ryder, he's the face and brains of their empire, he's calculating, and everything he does, he does it for his family, he's as dark and as cold as they come, a lethal business owner. The Salvatore brothers tho.. now those made me feel shit sometimes. Yes, don’t judge me ok. You’re here either to read or bcs you’ve already read it so stfu🙄🤚🏻 the other guys are just dumb stereotypes too... we have the “leader,” the “enforcer,” the “bookie,” and the “assassin.” If most triggers don’t bother you and you are accustomed to dark romance and like it, this might be a decent read for you. I have found that people either love or hate this book. I fall into the like category because it’s a good easy read.
