Additionally it's possible to set stick sensitivity setting, ZL/ ZR sensitivity setting and PC/Android motion sense aim assist. It’s also promising to see that GuliKit is keeping with its innovation ethos in this space and I look forward to what they come up with next. Since it emulate the Switch Pro controller in Switch mode, some of Swtich mode's exclusive features are supported natively by a growing list of games, allowing the use of the controller and some/all of it supplementary features without any additional software installed. What that means is the sticks don’t touch internal circuits that could be prone to wear, thus avoiding the dreaded stick drift that has plagued so many controllers in recent years.

Anyways, I'm sure there is some other things I'm forgetting to mention but I guess I've done enough damage here lol. The controller’s layout is otherwise based on Nintendo’s Switch Pro controller, and it performs just as well. The face buttons: They seem to have taken the standard rubber membrane + conductive pad design of something like the ds4 or xbone controller, and instead attached the conductive pads to what I can only describe as mini Cherry Mx Brown switches? Don’t let my criticisms discourage you, as I love multiple things about the controller, and would love to see you crush this industry of cheap garbage as the lone hero that rises against Nintendo, Sony and Xbox.I also like how the controller manages connections, with separate, labeled buttons for selecting a device and turning on Bluetooth pairing (for a total of four device inputs), plus a clearly labeled LED indicating which is currently active.

No matter which game I made a gyro aim template for in Steam, everything drifted up and to the right. Designed with a patented anti-drift technology that uses magnets to manoeuvre the analog stick to reduce wear and tear, this controller has just about everything you could ask for, while also promising to never move like Beyoncé, and drift to the left, to the left. Hope they do a revision down the road that factors all these things in as otherwise it's a pretty nice device. And since it is translated to English, that means the controllers originate from China, and GuliKit lets you know clearly as the box itself is littered with Chinese lettering from back to front.Update: In the time it took for me to receive my controller and the period in which I used it, they released a firmware update to the controller to address the problem that I had with it. The GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro is a Bluetooth controller for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, macOS, and Steam Deck.

PC is kinda notorious for issues with bluetooth and controllers though, so I don't know how much of this I should chalk up to the controller alone - I have had issues with Xbox One controllers without the adapter, DS4 over bluetooth etc. The King Kong Pro 2 has become my choice for travel, and the plastic case is definitely a small part of the decision. It personally didn't impact me and for normal play it seems fine, but I had to boost the controller deadzones in Steam controller settings just a bit -- the rest position is 0,0 in wired xbox 360 mode, but slightly off from that as a Switch Pro controller. I will admit, the analog sticks feel incredible thanks to the steel analog stick caps and hardened gates. Deadzones are a responsibility of the developers and possibly the player through in-game settings, not controller manufacturers.

The GuliKit King Kong Pro 2 controller promises a lot, but delivers, making it one of the best third-party controllers on the market for Nintendo Switch. The culprit is multifold, ranging from wear and tear of the conductive material to the accumulation of dust. Does its NXTPAPER technology make it an adequate blend of Android tablet and e-reader for enhanced productivity? Available in black or white, the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro has a satisfying soft-touch matte finish with subtly textured grips. Some (or all) of these features can be found in alternatives like the PowerA Fusion Pro 2 and Turtle Beach Recon, though both of those options are wired.

Well, you’ll lose Nintendo Switch compatibility for a start (without some dongle trickery, at least), but also the Hall Effect sticks and the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro’s extra turbo and learning modes.

Solving the general painpoint of joystick, and is comprehensively ahead of other mainstream gamepad. In the rare event that your package is lost or damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately so we can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
