It is only by comparison to the four previous works that this title should suffer. If you can shell out the do-re-mi, buy all five books - you won't regret it. The main section is on drawing the head. The other lessons look at body proportions, poses, hands and feet, clothing, perspective, and lighting and shadow. Those lessons are short but do cover enough material for you to get started. By building preliminary shapes and developing the outlines on them, we know WHERE TO DRAW OUR REAL LINES. There is hardly anything that cannot first be constructed by the use of simple forms.
