According to Nordost , their Heimdall 2 headphone cable has “…been individually insulated and twisted using Litz construction. Litz construction increases the pliability, as well as eliminates triboelectric noise within the cable and improves upon mechanical damping… Integrating Aramid fibers into the cable design not only ensures its mechanical integrity, …but the resonating properties of Aramid fibers also enhance sound quality…acts as the ideal conduit to transfer an amazingly realistic reproduction of sound from your system to your hifi headphones.” I have been using the cable for a couple of weeks and IMHO it is excellent in every way. It is similar to the "ddhifi" which gives me pause for concern in your application but it is 400mA. gucraftsman copper 6n occ 8c (brown,alo,MV)....136/142..143/143..127/133..130/135..[26.8] (mmcx/2.5mmTRS) once again, an artisan doesn't disappoint me. massively produced cables made by operators, equivalent to this, cost the same, and the work is not as fine as in this cable. In our previous Lavricables review, we stated that we loved the craftsmanship and meticulous, error-free build quality of their cables. We re-highlight this, by saying that once again we are mesmerized by the handiwork of the Lavricables team. My cable is perfect, from its braid spacing and braid tightness to its solder joints and shrinks.

There are a couple of scenarios where I think magic cables affect the sound: One is if you have an especially load-sensitive (ie, "bad") amp, and second, if he cable has bizarre electrical characteristics (one extreme example being the Polk 'Cobra Cables' in the early days of the magic cable era). These apparently had massive amounts of inductance which caused amplifiers to oscillate and, in many cases, blow up. But they looked cool. A variety of my headphone cables, illustrating different construction, diameters, coverings, etc Cable Materials My go-to IEM on a daily basis is Vision Ears’ VE7. It is a great benchmarking tool with a highly resolving signature and I use it to evaluate gear. I’ll be testing the Lavricables Ultimate 2-pin upgrade cable with the VE7 & several others. The IEM cable costs about 220 USD. Here are the specifications of the 2-pin cable; The Skin Effect of a conductor describes a phenomenon of propagation in a wire, originally published in 1985 by Professor Malcolm Omar Hawksfort Ph.D, which states that there is an optimal conductor diameter for audio transmission in cables. He found that different frequencies move through the copper wire at different speeds (higher frequency signals travel through the wire faster than lower frequencies). they inspire me more confidence. artisans use to love their work, and they put effort and care on their creations. that's why i decided to try Gu's cables, and titled this review as "enthusiast craftsman".a good idea is to keep proportion, or to pass when you know that the improvement is not worth it compared to the cost.

DC resistance of some cables (below 400mΩ, average), in mΩ: left, right, groundL, groundR or L+, R+, L-, R- (balanced). and [weight], in g. the goal is trying to minimize that degradation. interference from outside can degrade the signal. twisting the strands into the cores, and also the cores, prevents some kind of interference. braided screens and other sleeves prevent other kind of interference, but this adds weight and stiffness, and it's not so important for earphones wearing. at least, this is what i've understood after some reading sessions. use not following the ‘User Guide’ or any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product materials. In the end, I think of them as a potential type of fixed hardware equalizer (EQ) (like a vacuum tube in an amplifier), a very subtle EQ that cannot be adjusted but only replaced. A cable’s performance takes time to optimize because of the way a dielectric behaves (the way the insulating material absorbs and releases energy) and changes in the presence of a charge. Cables will continue to improve in sound or picture quality over a period of several weeks. This is the same reason amplifiers, preamplifiers and CD players also require an adjustment period. The key difference between “adjusting” and “breaking-in” is that things don’t “un-break-in”, however, electrical components do “unadjust”. Several weeks of disuse will return a cable to nearly its original state.”Like most people who are into audiophile equipment, I’ve heard the “golden” vs “lead” ear arguments many times. After over 50 years of trying various wires I know I can hear a difference in how wires conduct signals. I am also convinced there are people who do not hear differences. Why? System (as a whole) tuning and synergy. By this I mean how they perceive or feel about what they hear. Cables can be used to add a little HF extension and detail retrieval when paired with overly warm gear like tube gear or dark headphones like Audeze cans. Cables can lower noise floor (allowing one to hear more of what is being veiled). Cables can also effect the system to sound more lush (almost tubey like). Everyone hears differently and has personal tastes or preferences. Cables are one way to help realize the maximum potential from their gear. the pics doesn't reflect true color, because i had to use a warm artificial light when taking the photos. occ 4c (copper,furt,MV).................................57/57/ bad/55..59/59/ bad/57..53/53/54/54..64/62/62/71..[36]

The Lavricables brand was created in 2012 as a hobby by a group of passionate audiophiles. Dissatisfied with the high prices in the audio industry, this group decided to create their own cables. Hailing from Latvia, Lavricables stands out for its use of pure silver wire. Their range of products is remarkable, and they also offer limitless customization options. Their range includes headphone cables, speaker cables, USB cables, interconnects, and more. In this review, we take a closer look at the Master Line headphone upgrade cable from Lavricables.clean sound. copper version preserves lows better; spc version, mids and highs. in this case, i prefer sound with copper version (better, same level of best cables in the list), but i love purple color of sleeve in spc version (also available in orange and green). Additionally, the Reference and Ultimate Line cables are soldered with Mundorf 4% fine silver audio solder. I actually did build some cables with this solder and I find it easier to use compared to WBT’s %4 silver. i've found softer and more flexible wires, because the conductor is thinner and not so tight twisted and/or the sleeve material is TPU or kind of silicone. here, the sleeve is a stronger thin PVC; guess this protect the conductor better from scratches and cuts, and prevent de-coloration (as advertised), but it's a bit rougher and stiffer than softer plastics..
