You’ll also want to be aware of the type of controller you’re using if you plan to use these for music and mixing. Yes, sounding good is the most important, however, you’re going to be looking at your speakers just as often as you’ll be hearing from them. KRK studio monitors have been the choice of professional recording engineers and musicians for over three decades because of their precision and strong, inventive engineering. Many of the tunes you hear were mixed on KRK speakers and come from a range of musical genres. Your passion is music; ours is reproducing it with clarity and precision. Outside the Box There is no set up process involved with these speakers and they are ready to go right away. You can even have them beside your screen or monitor without worrying about the magnets messing up your screen. When I turn these speakers up all the way it still sounds very clean and clear. The bass response is amazing and is probably the sole reason why many people choose to go with the G2 monitors. I have used many other KRK monitors before and all of them are pretty much the same to me except when you start to spend a little more money on them they start sounding a little more crisp in the mid section.

In addition, the Rokit G4 has a frequency response that ranges between 36Hz on the lower end and a full 40kHz at its highest frequencies. I was pretty much instantly impressed with the sound of the KRK Rokit 8 G2's. While I've certainly heard a lot of pairs of better sounding studio monitors, considering the size and price of these, it's definitely pretty impressive. They're fine for uses of all types in home studios, but not professional mixing. They're fine for mixing at home but if you're a pro, they're not going to be adequate. They have a pretty good bass response for their size, but still do leave something to be desired down low when compared to larger monitors, which of course is to be expected... Without a doubt, the sound is the most important quality when it comes to good speakers. Yes, design and build are vitally important, but, without audio integrity, you’re just sitting there with a very pretty box in front of you. KRK App, Room Correction Assistance and Onboard LCD Visual EQ: DSP-driven room tuning with 25 visual Graphic EQ settings help minimize and correct problems in your acoustic environment. Visualize the EQ settings with an LCD Graph while getting real-time helpful spectral analysis from the included KRK App.They have a built in pads so no need for additional pads, unless you need the pads for elevation or tilting. Before I buy these beasts, I went through 10’s of you tube videos to know whether they will be a good addition to my studio. I found allot of controversy, but I’ve decided to get them and decide for my self. The sound quality of the KRK Rokit 8 G4 is amazing. As with many speakers, they will need to be broken in before they are at their optimum. The balance is acceptable. The low end is a little more prominent, as is typical with KRK. If you don't want to add a subwoofer to your setup, this is ideal. However, it is not suitable for flat response listening. The highs are sharp and clear. Mids are also enjoyable. The sound is warm and soothing, which helps to reduce ear strain.

Those Kevlar drivers, synonymous with the brand’s high-end monitors, are brought to the ROKITs range for the first time and do a superb job. The audio remains distortion-free even if you start to crank these speakers. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. based in the USA. It cannot be ruled out that your data collected by Facebook will also be transmitted to the USA. I have listened on lowest volume, cant hear the white noise presence then but just so you know, it is there. Simply put, if you’re looking for a powered studio monitor that can produce a serious punch on all frequencies, then there isn’t anything else you’d need. On a brighter note they do sound great and the hissing is almost not audible when playing any noise trough them. if you wanted a quiet pair of speakers this is not it.The low-end frequencies are handled by an 8-inch Kevlar cone woofer in the KRK Rokit 8 G4. A 1-inch kevlar dome tweeter is used to supplement the lower frequencies. Each driver in a bi-amped arrangement has its own amp to regulate output. The frequency response ranges from 36Hz to 40 kHz. The additional low-end depth helps to the pleasing bass response. There is still enough of space in the high-end for optimal clarity. Options for Tuning Because there is so much you can do, the Rokit 8 G4 is one of the most flexible studio monitors available. Complete adaptability to your studio space. The KRK app takes it to the next level. It's easy to use and has a lot of great features. The real-time spectrum analysis provides further information into what improvements may be required. It also recommends speaker arrangement and level matching. This is ideal for a first-time setup. It's also great for newbies who aren't familiar with the subtleties of studio monitor positioning. Hopefully, more manufacturers will embrace this new generation of tweaking possibilities. A novel step that is ideal for both novice and experienced manufacturers. Optional Connections Last but not least, the Rokit 8 G4 has a pretty impressively sized bass front-facing port at the bottom of the speaker. The Rokit 8 immediately makes itself known with a fully covered 8-inch Kevlar cone woofer and a 1-inch Kevlar dome tweeter. The woofer works by building up the lower-end frequencies (resulting in a stronger low-end). This is in part down to the consistent air pressure behavior delivered from the speaker design. What It Doesn’t

True to the KRK name, these front-facing port speakers come with that signature yellow woofer that is beloved by both, professionals and beginners alike. A new low resonance speaker enclosure features a revamped front-firing port, offering exceptional low-end extension, punch and flexible room-positioning. High density open cell acoustic Iso-foam pads decouple the speaker from the surface minimizing vibration transmission for improved clarity. The onboard DSP allows users to more easily apply crossovers, room corrections, or add tweaks to the polarity settings.Every newly made ROKIT in the G4 series has onboard room tuning, which means you can adapt it to the specific space in which it is being used. In addition, the new KRK app allows you to analyze the acoustics of the room. This enables you to simply work out the placement, angle and EQ settings for the room. You don’t even need to be an audio engineer or know a lot about music tech to do this. The brand also claims that this is the only monitor in this price range and class that has an LCD EQ, which lets you see the settings in action. Since we’ve had a chance to go over and review the speaker’s physical build and design, we can now take a look at exactly what this guy offers in terms of sound and different features and functions. Sound Quality All in all, the Rokit 8 comes with a ton of strong tuning capabilities that cater to just about any person’s customized listening settings. The lows aren’t the only frequency ranges that excellent sound quality. Both the highs and the mids are just as satisfying on the ears. The Higher ends are completely crisp and clear while the mids are very warm and soothing, almost completely mitigating any potential ear fatigue. The possibility for DSP-driven Active Room Tuning is one of the nicest features of the Rokit G4 series of studio monitors. When you link your monitor to the KRK app, which is available for both iOS and Android, you can take acoustic control to the next level with the Rokit G4 series. Using the app's real-time Room Acoustic Analyzer, you can precisely tune EQ settings to aid in optimum speaker placement and level matching. You can select the ideal settings for your monitor and get the most out of your audio in just a few simple steps. KRK Systems Information
