Olight includes an MCC3 magnetic charging cable for charging. On 1 end there’s a USB-A connector, and at the other end, there is a magnetic base with a positive and negative terminal. And because the large capacity of the battery, the charge time is also very long. In my testing, I measured 4 hours and 31 minutes from empty to full. And the charge current my USB meter showed was up to 1.9A, but most of the time it was below 1.8A, at 5 Volts.

There is a smooth transition between the floodlight area and the central spot. The floodlight cover area has diffuse reflection rays which bring a larger viewing angle( usually anything above 90 degrees), wider irradiation range, and soft light without dazzling. I couldn’t find any figures for beam intensity, other than the max beam intensity for Spot L7 mode, which is 90,000 cd. Marauder Mini , as the name suggests, is the miniature version of Olight's Marauder series of flashlights. Smaller in size, but still with powerful energy and even more functions. Since its debut, it has attracted a lot of attention due to its super versatility. It is a mini beast with flood, spot, and RGB light to cover almost all your applications. In this article, I would clearly introduce its 5 light sources and applications. Let's take a look, I am sure you will be impressed by this Mini beast. Floodlight flashlights produce highly diffused and directionless light instead of clear-cut light beams, so the lights they produce are soft and transparent. When used for illuminating, the lighting decreases much more slowly than the spotlight. Red light is not as bright to human eyes as white light, so it is helpful for faster focusing at night. When transitioning from darkness to light, human eyes adjust faster to red light than to white light. It helps preserve night vision and decrease the overall light signature in low-light situations. Throw is fantastic, the output is good, and offering multiple levels of red or green or blue just makes the light extra fun! The unusual cell size (32650) does not bother me; I’m quite pleased that it’s possible to replace the cell. I do wish the Mini offered USB-C charging (and possibly a powerbank feature) as the Marauder 2 does. All in all, this one’s a big winner! Marauder 2 is an upgraded version of the X7R Marauder, and Marauder Mini, as the name suggests, is the miniature version of the Marauder series of flashlights. At first glance, there is no difference between these two Led flashlights in appearance.

The runtime test was done with the 50cm integrating sphere, including the Gobe ND-16 filter and Extech SDL400 data logging Lux Meter. Mode Both of them have a silicone surface and hidden lanyard hold design for ease of storage and carrying. Marauder Mini powerful flashlight has an extra holster that fully considered you use flashlight of various conventions. Your belt loops are also located to accommodate the placement of the holster. The bottom of the holster is hollowed out, which makes it available for you to charge the flashlight without taking it out of the holster. Mini LED flashlights from Marauder are compatible with existing tiny chargers. You may save money by purchasing the new lights without chargers and then using your existing charger. It doesn’t have any ‘special characteristics’ to distinguish them from any other LED. But the center LED looks exactly the same as was used in the Olight Javelot Mini. Most white light LED flashlights actually produce white light by irradiating fluorescent powder with blue light, so the white light LED flashlight contains some blue light components. Blue light has a high refraction and scattering rate so its throw range is short compared with other color light. Both Marauder 2 and Marauder Mini powerful flashlights have dual beams of flood and throw. Marauder 2 has 12 small LEDs circling the edge to create a 14,000 lumen floodlight beam and a large LED in the center of the head to emit an 800-meter spotlight beam. The head diameter of the Marauder Mini powerful flashlight is smaller than Marauder 2, so it is composed of 9 LEDs surrounding the center. Among nine LEDs are 6 LEDs to provide a 7000-lumen bright floodlight and another three LEDs to provide RGB color light respectively. A large round LED in the center creates a 600-meter spotlight. They are also different in the shape of the spotlight. Marauder 2 provides a square spotlight, while Mini provides a round spotlight. And it’s done with a different (higher quality) lux meter than the lumen tests. So I think we can assume that the specifications for the Spot mode were all a bit on the conservative side. Here are a number of runtime tests. I tested the highest 3 modes for flood and throw but didn’t test any of the color modes for runtime.
