It kind of snuck up on me, because there are so many characters and we don't get tons of one on one time with each one. this was such a loaded tale of a girl who didn't know her path, who was bright as the sun and bold as ever, who learnt the meaning of life and love and pure fucking happiness. Over 600+ pages of coming-of-age fantasy should NOT be mired down with that much detail over warring groups, troop movements, and the daily minutia of living in a palace.
