Four Peaks, named after the iconic mountaintops in the northeast area of Greater Phoenix, is the state's most well-known brewer, thanks to their classic Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale, which has been around since 1996 and is known as the No. 1 beer in Arizona. The main brewery in Tempe has been a classic meetup spot for Arizona State University students, spring training fans, locals and visitors alike for more than 20 years (Four Peaks has become such a mainstay in the area that one of Tempe's biggest events is the annual Four Peaks Oktoberfest at Tempe Beach Park). You'll find the beers anywhere in the state, and even across the country too, since the brewery was acquired by Anheuser-Busch in 2015.
