Clans and Colors [ edit ] For more information on the Clan system, see Clan. For more information on the Color system, see Color. Each player rolls an unopened Bakugan® toward the Hide Matrix. If only Bakugan® opens, that player turns over their Character Cards. If both players Bakugan® open they flip over their Character Cards. Bakugan no longer uses the Faction system from Generation 2, instead adding a new set of symbols, called Clans, which generally various species or designs of Bakugan. Each Bakugan is assigned a Clan, which does not change no matter the color or special type. Moose was over the moon when we were sent the Bakugan Battle Arena and Bakugan Starter Set recently. I had a vague concept of what Bakugan was in that I knew that there was an animated series where there were “brawls” and that it was very popular. That was about it.

Let me explain:There are many different Bakugans toys available, each with its own unique features. The most popular Bakugans toys are the Gundalian Invaders sets, which include several small Bakugan figures and a playset. Other popular Bakugan toys include the Battle Brawlers sets, which come with larger Bakugan figures and a variety of accessories, and the Bakugan Battle Arena, which is a large playset that can accommodate multiple Bakugan figures. There are also many smaller Bakugan toys available, such as keychains and figurines. Whatever type of Bakugan toy you're looking for, there's sure to be one that's perfect for you. It is also the place where the Bakugan Battle Brawlers have their battles. The dimension is made up of many different places, each with its own unique landscape and inhabitants. In addition, the " color" of a Bakugan no longer has any connection to a particular Clan, differing the system from the previous two Generations.

Those two features were advertised and didn't work at all, however, there is more to this that is disappointing. The sides on the arena do not hold on well. The red rims have popped off by the Bakugan simply bumping into it. A stronger attachment method would be desirable to say the least. Having scoured the instructions until my few remaining braincells ached I followed this up with a search on Youtube and managed to find this really helpful video on how to play a basic game. I like that there is an educational aspect within the game where the players have to read the numbers and see which are the highest to find the winner. I can see the collectable aspect being very popular with Moose. He already wants to add to the collection! Each player needs three Bakugan® (and Character Cards) and six BakuCores – These much match the BakuCore symbols with those on your team’s Character Cards. However, I do have some praise for this. The base of the arena itself is sturdy and holds the metal cards wonderfully. Additionally, the grey stand segments were clearly designed to hold the Bakugan character cards, and it does so nicely.
