I can't explain how fresh and invigorating this fragrance is and that It has become my favorite everyday fragrance. The lavender and anise with it's herbal and fresh impact intertwined with a soft floral centre and sitting on a mossy and soft woody base is hard to dislike. Edited to add that I should mention it is the splash on aftershave that I have which means it is very light and doesn't last all that long. The Brut hit me like that, and I shot up like monstrous spring which had been coiled up for centuries and my eyes bulged as if a Burmese python was squeezing the last breath out of my lungs.

But nothing can replace the loss of Faberge's ingredients as current makers have slid it further downmarket. Street odours are from last century indeed- urinal smell, some dirtiness and confusion, fried chips whiffs and stale beer. some of the reviewers here have already stated, what Brut actually is: perhaps the most iconic, distinctive, and beautiful DNA for men ever created.

Very nice, a bit sweeter than classic Brut sold in green bottles (probably more vanilla), it is fairly cheap and you need to overspray to get some longevity and projection (but overspraying works with this one). I don't like to fight with rules but Chuck has a way of convincing you to do stuff you wouldn't otherwise.

This just smell like hand cream on top notes smell ı really don't like it has lemon and citrus opening is too bad to me.I find using a combination of aftershave, EDT and splash on, the fragrant smell lingers and permeates clothing such that I notice, even after work, that I can smell Brut. Beautiful, strong, animalic and a little volatile, like the movie this is a cultural colossus that needs to be revisited again and again.
