From memory the Takahashi 22x60 although one of the best 60mm binoculars in the world have a smaller apparent field than the Ross. I ended up swapping out the mosfet with a relay board from Kookye’s Smart Home Sensor kit, and it’s been working reliably ever since! In the past I had modified a 2x60 amplifier to work without cresnet just using an external 24V power supply. Then you connect the speaker across the "hot" (red) terminals of these two amp channels to get your bridged channel.

I definately suggest a very sturdy tripod and top quality fluid head to really take advantage of the fine optics. The override button is a nice workaround if you don’t have a full Crestron install, but it’s necessary to hit that button any time the Cresnet power source resets.I also have four 16x60's that I am modifying or parting out in different ways, if you are looking for spare parts. While this field is smaller, it is all useable, with many competitive binoculars the whole field is not useable. Hi guys did anyone have any idea what the current draw is on one of these with no audio playing but the amp turned on? If I’m in the home theater then 7 of the 8 amp boards are in use, and the extra power for the unused amp board is pretty inconsequential compared to everything else.

I know you guys have recommended to stay at 8 ohm speakers or above but I wanted to ask to see if it's safe for me to drive 6 ohms rated MTM. They looked excellent but on close inspection the glass used contained enormous amounts of tiny bubbles. I would be able to replace the Emotiva XPA-5 and Rotel RB-1050 in my rack with just this single unit, and drive not only my whole home theater and living room speakers from it, it could drive my future Atmos speakers as well!
