As queen, she forbids the wrongful imprisonment and mistreatment of monsters. She also has the monsters to help her free Globgor from his crystal prison, only to no avail. According to Baby in the episode of the same name, Eclipsa had a very high affinity for magic compared to other queens, rivaled only by Star herself. It is also presumed from a remark by King Butterfly that Eclipsa harbored sympathy for Mewni's monsters, a sentiment shared by very few of her fellow Mewmans and royals.

Realm of Magic

Promotional material and recent synopses for the episode give its title as simply "Banagic". This makes it the second episode to be known by at least two titles after " Brittney's Party" (alternatively titled "Party Bus"). In " Starcrushed", Toffee assumes full control over Ludo's body and forms a new right arm around Ludo's wand, embedding the crystal and its magic into his palm. He also engages Queen Butterfly and the Magic High Commission in battle, absorbing the powers of the latter and telling the former just before she escapes that he'll be coming after Star to reclaim his lost finger. Until " Butterfly Trap", Eclipsa doesn't know anything about Festivia, who replaced Meteora as her daughter in the Butterfly records. In " The Bounce Lounge", he expresses disinterest when Pony Head arrives at the Diaz Household in tears, believing she is crying over something trivial, and he gets annoyed when she praises Milly Sparkles for repeating his words of wisdom. " Monster Bash" shows that they still have somewhat of a rivalry over being Star's best friend. In " Divide" and " Conquer", Marco includes Pony Head as one of his "Marc-nificent Seven".
