Hide is the first book of a new Detective Harriet Foster series from author Tracy Clark. The second book in the series, titled Fall, is already planned for publication December 5, 2023. The plot was interesting in a Cabin in the Woods meets Total Drama island. But obviously you couldn't get as much detail in the graphic novel format as in a whole novel. I think that is why I didn't resonates with any of the characters or their motivations. A good read once you get by the stereotype that all white male police officers all racists , lazy, and trying to pin a crime on anyone.
