The biggest draw will undoubtedly be the post-ROTJ Boba Fett minifigure appearing in the most affordable set yet, but is the rest of the set any good too? Let’s find out! A lot of the people here in the comments are acting as if LEGO doesn't regularly give Star Wars sets generic names, such as "Anakin's Jedi Interceptor" instead of Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptor, or "General Grievous' Starfighter" instead of Soulless One. I don't like the name change either, but only because of the context behind the change. " The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. Minifigure The LEGO Star Wars team genuinely was on the verge of greatness with 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter: it’s a solid rendition of Slave I that slots very neatly into the wider Microfighter range, while plugging another gap in the long list of LEGO Firespray-class ships. That said, I would only recommend this if you want the Mandalorian-era Boba Fett and don’t already have it – the microfighter is decent but definitely not a must-get.

There’s only one minifigure included, Boba Fett himself. This minifigure is unchanged from its previous appearances in terms of the prints, the only difference being his rangefinder is now missing.

Add an extra dimension to your youngster’s fun, creative experience with the LEGO Builder app, featuring instructions and interactive zoom and rotate viewing tools to help them build with confidence. Well... to play devil's argument, people who spent a lot to get them. Let's face it, Lego has based a large amount of its goodwill (i.e., inherent value of a longstanding company) in the idea that it's products are 'worth it' to adults in part because they appreciate in value. If Lego decides to undercut all the collectors who've invested, they will destroy that part of their goodwill. They will 'only' be a toy company for children. What surprised me was the fact that you can also put him into the Slave I in its horizontal landed mode! This feature is present in larger versions of the Slave I, but I didn’t expect them to recreate it here. Speaking of hotness, study after study shows that women are most attracted to dad bods. This is undoubtedly because it connotes financial and emotional stability. I look in the mirror and fight the good fight everyday.

This is a guest review from our resident LEGO Star Wars correspondent, vaderfan_2187, who is covering the new 2023 wave of LEGO Star Wars sets. LEGO White Boba Fett Minifigure in Polybag (2853835-1) LEGO White Boba Fett Minifigure in Polybag (2853835-1) I would have preferred the shoulder armour to be placed higher on both arms, but the shape of these panels is attractive. The combination of reddish brown and dark red across the forearms looks nice as well. The rifle bears little resemblance to Boba Fett's classic EE-3 carbine, which is a shame, but this was probably inevitable because of the stud shooter. Thanks for reading! By the by, ever heard of slave-catchers? Because of course there is absolutely no similarity at all between them and bounty hunters. None whatsoever. So get your mind out of the uncisheteronormativecolonialist gutter. At 85 pieces, Fett’s iconic ship fits right in with the Microfighter family. The deep greens and reds really bring the ship to life, and the unforgettable shape of this fan-favorite vessel still cuts a foreboding silhouette for would-be bounties even in micro-size.Flame yellowish orange parts are placed on the knees, again faithfully recreating the colours of Boba Fett's armour. The spikes on the feet serve the same purpose and demonstrate laudable attention to detail, as well as distinguishing the feet of this model from the two other Star Wars mechs arriving in August.

If the LEGO Group had just taken the plunge and colour-corrected Boba Fett, we’d be having an entirely different conversation right now, using words and phrases like ‘must-have’ and ‘buy it right now’. As is, it’s one for Slave I and Microfighters collectors only. LEGO Star Wars 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter pros Certain vehicles are particularly suitable for Microfighters, transitioning easily and retaining their most recognisable features. I imagine the Slave I has proven rather difficult, given how long this iconic vessel has taken to join the series. Fortunately, 75344 Boba Fett's Starship Microfighter was undoubtedly worth waiting for! This model is constructed similarly to the Marvel mechs, incorporating the same angled limb elements and measuring 13cm in height, which is only marginally taller than the Marvel sets. Boba Fett's vehicle appears substantially stronger though, with broader legs and impressive shoulder armour. Only 76242 Thanos Mech Armour is really comparable.LEGO Star Wars 75344 Boba Fett’s Starship Microfighter is available to buy from LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores and through third-party retailers. It’s cheap enough that you won’t really need to wait for a discount, though. Quality assurance – LEGO® components meet strict industry quality standards to ensure that they connect consistently and securely for robust builds Is that a market that can sustain their growth models? Especially given the current economic and sociological (developed world birth dirth) climate? Boba Fett has always been at the forefront of minifigure design and the version introduced in 75060 Slave I arguably achieved perfection! This minifigure thus resembles earlier examples very closely, but actually comprises new pieces. The belt, braided Wookiee hair and metallic silver battle damage have each been adjusted, while the legs include slightly more detail. Boba needs olive green armor and helmet, the print scheme could stay identical to the current parts. Sand green helmet is accurate for TESB Bobas, ROTJ had the base color altered slightly which Lucasfilm stayed close to. The shade Boba used to repaint his armor with is darker than the shade he had before the Sarlacc pit but both of them are closer to olive green than any other shade of green.
