Description

Terrorsaur, using the Golden Disk, discovers Tarantulas had installed a Transwarp cell inside the Decepticon ship, the Nemesis…but where is the ship…? Firstly, the comics included a rough approximation of the Gobots characters. Secondly, they were never explicitly stated as Gobots either. Puffer is loosely based on the the toy Pipes received during "Generation 1" only in some parts of Europe, which was a straight redeco of Huffer's toy in Pipes-ish colors. We say "loosely based" because, rather than using the concurrent Kingdom Huffer "G1 toy" version of the mold, Puffer is (mostly) a straight redeco of Kingdom Pipes, except for the head (which is still based on Pipes's original toy, rather than any version of Huffer)… essentially making it Pipes in slightly-off Pipes colors. This was likely done so as to ensure all pretooled parts of the mold saw use, as was the case for Siege Irontread and later releases like Legacy Burn Out and Galaxy Shuttle. Like I've said, there's no clear answer for this. It's why Apple and Samsung have gone to court over reverse engineering, and many other similar lawsuits. I daresay Hasbro doesn't want to suffer any potentially legal or financial problems linked to it. In context, though, I'm talking about reengineered Generations-style updates. There are no toy rights restrictions to something like that.

He survives, but the surge left him severely mutated, aggressive, and savage. He doesn’t remember his allegiance to the Maximals, and another survivor plots to take advantage… Some viewers noted discs of the first wave proved to be cropped and distorted and otherwise poorly restored to present the shorts in "widescreen" as opposed to their original aspect ratio (though these were just for the post-1953 shorts). Warner Bros. stated the reason for this was that all post-1953 WB shorts were shown in matted-widescreen in theaters. What do you think of this latest set? Not too long ago, Bandai released new neo-generations style Machine Robo toys, so there's definitely something to the 'can't make toys in the likeness of the Bandai figures' thing.

He is aggressive and savage and yearns only for battle. He doesn't remember his allegiance to the Maximals or his love of Earth's natural beauty.

The quantum surge causes a time vortex, intercepting the GoBot Road Ranger and the Autobots Pipes and Huffer, pulling them through time and space. During the wild journey through the vortex, Huffer and Pipes fuse and arrive on prehistoric Earth as Puffer. The "disk" consists of a cover or canister—on which a set of pictograms are found—and a phonograph record inside the canister. The record, titled "The Sounds of Earth", has a "data" portion and a sound portion. In the data portion are over a hundred encoded images including photographs of the Earth and its lifeforms, as well as drawings of human biology and reproduction. The audio portion includes sounds of natural environments on Earth, wildlife, human voices, and music. The pictograms on the record's cover explain how to play the disc and decode the images. In this timeline, the quantum surge kills all the Maximals and Predacons, except one...Tigatron. The noble and nature-loving tiger bot survives, but he is greatly changed. The surge left him severely mutated and altered his personality. Optimus Prime's third card, Nemesis Prime, homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, though Optimus Prime himself is recolored from his first card. ROAD RANGER AND PUFFER The quantum surge causes a time vortex, intercepting the GoBot Road Ranger and the Autobots Pipes and Huffer, pulling them through time and space. At some point between Decepticon Megatron adding his message to the disk and the beginning of the Beast Wars, the spacecraft holding the disk—or perhaps only the disk—fell into the hands of the Transformers. It was seemingly considered a precious artifact, even though the general population of Maximals had no idea what it really was (and even some Predacons—like the reformatted Decepticon Ravage—didn't have a clue). The Maximal Elders were presumably aware of the Disk's origin. This redeco of ReAction BW Megatron features translucent purple plastic and a new Voyager disk accessory. This piece was exclusive to Target. An extensive retool of Kingdom Deluxe Airazor, Terrosaur is looking decently show-accurate, although some concessions have been made. The photo gallery offered shows him off in both of his modes, and the official description is as follows:
