Description

In this travel edition, the destination board spaces are the only ones that a player can stamp for visiting their travel goal. Only 1 stamp will be occupied on a destination and it will not be erased for a game. Each destination’s Title Deed has a travel goal indicating that you have to go to another destination to visit also. Although a destination has exchanged hands, that destination’s travel goal will not change. A player’s stamp in that travel goal will not be erased. A bonus move is an extra move without using the dice and therefore does not count against rolling “three times in a row”.

When you land on a destination that is your travel goal, you use your stamp on its board space indicating that you visit it. Your stamp will stay there for the rest of the game. Only 1 stamp will be placed in a single destination. When you land on a destination that nobody owns, you must either buy or auction. You cannot decline both options. Buy [ ] Stamps that are in Travel Journal cards cannot be erased at all because these cards are not dry-erasable. If only the kids (at least 8 years old as required) are playing, adult supervision is required to avoid a kid misusing ink.

Unless someone else has already stamped that destination; in that case, you cannot overwrite that stamp already placed in.

If you land on a destination that is your travel goal and it is blank, you stamp onto that destination on the dry-erasable gameboard. A stamp will be there forever, so it is impossible to remove. Travel Journal is designed to last a lifetime, so a person that has recorded a journal will be with them forever. This works the same way for Travel Journals. A doubled fee is the highest amount of fee in this game because there are no houses or hotels to build. Each player selects a token (and its related stamp) to play. All tokens played will be placed on GO. You will leave with no money, so you are technically bankrupt. However, bankruptcy will NOT get you out of a game. Therefore, you can still play.A player can buy, sell, or swap destinations from/to other players at any time (not only on their own turn). A destination can be dealt for another destination or cash. The destinations are the only properties in this game. These destinations are the famous tourist attractions in the world. Destinations are equivalent to “streets” because they are in color sets. If there are no more empty circles to stamp, then you cannot stamp anymore. Just do on what it says on a card. Your favorite money games now have a travel edition! If no player is willing to bid in an auction, this auction will end without a bidder. The auctioned Title Deed will remain unowned in a Bank. If you don’t want to buy or you do not have enough money, that destination has to be put up for auction. When you land on a destination that is owned by someone else but it is also your travel goal, you do not have to pay the fee.If you owe money to a player (for a visit fee) or to the Bank (for travel fee, Chance card, or Travel Journal card) but you do not have enough money, pay all of your remaining money. NOTE: There are no “Get Out of Jail Free” cards in this game because there are only 10 cards for Chance and 10 for Travel Journal. NOTE: If run out or you are uncomfortable with the smaller cardboard money, you can “borrow” paper money from the other Monopoly game sets.

If you decide to buy a destination, pay the amount shown on its board space. After paying, take its Title Deed with you to indicate ownership. As in most games, if you have enough money to buy but not the exact bill, the banker is allowed to make change. NOTE: Landing on your own destination is like a rest space that you do not do anything. You cannot owe money to yourself. You cannot stamp either (unless that destination is your travel goal). The player with the highest number will go first. After a player completes their turn, the dice are handed over to another player on the left.

After a game is over, erase all the stamps placed on the dry-erasable gameboard with a paper towel. NOTE: There is an exception of paying a fee when you land on a destination that is your travel goal.
