The challenge is, some of my gaming friends often leave my markers out to dry, so there’s really no winning, here. Working alongside The London Sound Survey, we collected field recordings from 55 stations across the London Underground network over the course of three months, adding in sounds from our respective archives.

This phase comprises of several turns (between 5 and 10), depending on the Station cards that are flipped over. We then invited sound artists, sound designers and musicians from around the world to reimagine, remix and rework those sounds during July, with almost 100 reimagined pieces presented here.You first count how many different districts your route has crossed and multiply this by the number of stations your line passes through in your highest district. When playing with my seven year old Max, we tend to leave out scoring the connections so there is less complexity. I think the shifting between various pencils across the rounds is very clever, but I also like how dynamic that makes every game feel! Score bonus points for the leftmost uncircled Tourist Site on the bottom of your score pad, and score bonus points for Interchanges! At the end of the game, players score 10 points for each of these objectives whose criteria are met.
