A highly fictionalized account of the London production of this play is the backdrop to Horowitz’s novel, The Twist of a Knife (2022). If you are considering staging this play you need to bear in mind that performers, directors and audiance will either love it or hate it - nothing in between. Love how Horowitz makes himself a character in his own books and so can critique and recontextualize certain past, less-than-inspired work.
