My delicious festive cranberry gin tastes even better than it looks, and just look how beautiful it is with that glowing, jewel-like hue!Although it is incredibly easy to make, you do need to think ahead. You cannot just rustle up a batch of Cranberry Gin to drink tomorrow as it needs around a month for the infusion of flavour to happen. I like to put the cranberries on skewers so they retain their sugar coating. If you drop them right into the drink, it's like the sugar will dissolve off. Many people consider cranberries to be a superfood due to their high nutrient and antioxidant content. In fact, research has linked the nutrients in cranberries to a lower risk of urinary tract infection, the prevention of certain types of cancer, improved immune function, and decreased blood pressure. You can make it with fresh cranberries, when they are in season in the winter months, but you can also use frozen cranberries if you want to make it at another time of year.
