Description

It’s no surprise that fighting games proved popular as a genre for home consoles, with many of the most highly regarded titles being converted from arcade originals. Helgeson, Matt (March 2000). Throwing Your Gun at the Enemy: You can do this with empty or even loaded guns though a hit only takes away a minuscule amount of their health.

It's your job to stop Dr. Zenga, who wants to take control of the city. Before you set off, you will have to choose one of four heroes. Each character has its own advantages and disadvantages (eg a character with a greater strength is slow). In addition, each warrior has one powerful special blow, which - unfortunately - exhausts their health. A sequel, Fighting Force 2, was released for the PlayStation and the Sega Dreamcast with the only playable character being Hawk. It didn't perform too well thanks to the extremely disjointed storyline and being unnecessarily Darker and Edgier. Kujawa, Kraig (February 2000). "Fighting Force 2". Guns Are Useless: Nope, they do good damage and are hitscan weapons. The downside they don't have a lot of shots, at most just five.

Fighting Force, from the same developers that brought us Tomb Raider, looked very promising from the early reports. It looked like it was going to be the ultimate beat-'em-up game, redefining the genre for the 32-bit and up systems. Unfortunately, the game starts strong, but becomes an exercise in futility on or around the second level. a b EGM staff (May 1997). "Fighting Force: A 3-D Final Fight Done Right". Fighting Force is a classic Playstation game that was released in 1997. The game puts you in control of one of four playable characters who battle their way through the crime-ridden city of Metro City in search of the evil crime lord, Zeng.

Fighting Force is a typical representative of "chodzonych" fighting. Just like in Double Dragon, wandering around the city (and buildings) you will fight against countless enemies. During the fights you will be able to use the found objects - pistols, metal rods and other helpful devices, eg a fire extinguisher. A sequel, titled Fighting Force 2, was released in 1999 for the PlayStation and Dreamcast. Unlike the first title, Fighting Force 2 focuses on the character of Hawk Manson exclusively, and rewards a more stealthy approach. Players control one of four characters as they move through urban and science fiction environments, battling waves of oncoming enemies with weapons including soda cans, knives, cars, and guns. [4] The player can make some choices as to which territory to travel through. [4] Story [ edit ] PS1 US Sales from 1995-2003". Game Pilgrimage. NPD Group. Archived from the original on May 20, 2005 .
