Swamp Thing vol. 2 Annual #5: "Brothers" (with Mike Hoffman and Richard Piers Rayner) and "Shaggy God Stories" (with Mike Mignola, 1989) The first and the third shorts are fairly sex-obsessed in the way you'd expect an aging famous writer with a somewhat younger wife to write. The second one is grotesque and fairly cryptic at the end. Also, you would think Neil Gaiman hates cats given the number of times I've had to hear about or see them being killed in truly horrifying ways in his works. The last story and the epilogue are the same, which kinda ruins the epilogue idea - or rather I should just say the book has a prologue but no real epilogue. Johnston, Rich (4 August 2020). "How DC Comics Will Bring Lucifer to a Conclusion, Revealed". Bleeding Cool. Archived from the original on 4 August 2020.

These issues were initially created to serve as the bookends for the eponymous crossover among Vertigo's ongoing series published within five Annual specials. Fortunately, the Milk (read by Gaiman, released by HarperChildrensAudio in 2013, ISBN 0-0623-3208-2) It's brutal to give 4 stars out of 5... 5 out of 5 should be choice... the stories are going to keep you awake... for a very long time. This here stories aren't just some kind of fantasy or a lie... it's what's the truth behind each wall. Neil Gaiman's Mr. Hero the Newmatic Man #1–17 (written by James Vance, C. J. Henderson (#12) and Martin Powell (#13–14), drawn by Ted Slampyak, Seppo Makinen (#12) and José Delbo (#13–14), 1995–1996) Phil Edgar-Jones, director of Sky Arts, said, “I’ve long admired the work of Neil Gaiman. He is a genius storyteller and an exceptional talent. Under this British directorial powerhouse, Likely Stories is, in true Gaiman style, brilliantly bizarre and unexpected.”Neil Gaiman's Lady Justice vol. 2 #1–9 (written by C. J. Henderson, drawn by Fred Harper (#1 and 6–8), Chris Marrinan (#2–5) and Mike Harris (#9), 1996–1997) The Sandman Presents: The Corinthian #1–3 (written by Darko Macan, drawn by Danijel Žeželj, 2001–2002)

In 2007, the script as well as the fully drawn and lettered art for the entire one-shot were posted online but have been taken down since. [6] The Neil Gaiman Audio Collection (four children's stories read by Gaiman, released by HarperAudio in 2004, ISBN 0-06-073298-9) Issues #21–22 were published in print as part of the House of Whispers: Watching the Watchers collection. [8] The series was canceled, and the last two issues ended up being released only in digital format. [7]Judge Dredd Annual '88: " Judge Hershey: Sweet Justice" (prose story with illustrations by Leigh Baulch, 1987) I don't know why I still buy pretty much everything Neil Gaiman puts out. This one is certainly not a stunner. Collection of shorts, illustrated to make them into "comics". In general, I hate that, because I prefer to see more actual use of comics language and exploration of the medium. Just publish your short stories if that's what they are! (Oh, wait, he already did! There's a short story collection called "Likely Stories" that are not comics, AND all of these stories were also previously published in other collections!) Likely Stories” is a graphic novel adaptation of four Neil Gaiman stories, all of which deal in some way with a masculine perspective on issues of loneliness, sexual desire, lust, and envy. All of them also have a supernatural aspect to them, as is to be expected from Gaiman. An "adaptation" of this poem (drawn by Tommy Berg) was published in Wiindows #16 (anthology, Cult Press, 1994) In 2012, Vertigo commissioned Toby Litt to write a new middle chapter in place of the Annuals and rework the second issue to fit the new storyline.
