Bleaching your hair would actually be better for your hair as not only could this product react with the colour you previously put on your hair but it will dry it out possibly causing breakage and severe split ends. I can almost guarantee you will need to add a colour after Colour B4 but they recommend (As do I) adding a Semi Permanent one – pick a shade 1 depth LIGHTER than the colour your hair is naturally and if possible one that contains some ash (Do not put anything Warm on as it will be VERY vibrant and probably brassy).

I was disappointed since the processing took some time and I had been so excited to see my hair less black. The Casting Creme Gloss makes my hair colour rich and glossy, which is why it may look in better condition than the previous photos.

You can use this on both semi-permanent and permanent coloured hair as there are 2 different strengths to choose from. The ash should help with those red tones after – remember to aim at least 1 shade lighter than what you are once the colour is removed.

It Allows You To Re-Colour Hair Directly After Use, However It Is Advised To Allow Your Scalp And Hair To Rest 1-3 Days Before Re-Colouring.You hair will be slightly more porous and the colours going to grab really quickly so you probably won’t need to put it on for as long as recommended and will need to keep an eye on it. Getting your hair back to its old natural colour is going to mean growing out all that old coloured hair, even though you have stripped the colour out it was a permanent dye and will have built up. I wrongly assumed at this point that the Colour B4 had not worked, but decided to complete all the steps anyway to give the product a chance to prove me wrong. It just tends to show up darker on (particularly) previously highlighted hair, as it mutes down all the blonde. It was a gloriously sunny day so I went and sat outside for a bit to get a extra bit of heat on my head and some fresh air.

There's also an extra strength formula available which is for stronger, darker colours such as red or black. The salon told me they could help me with some 'light' bleaching, but I'd had this done once before and remember it fried my hair. My best tip to prevent re-oxidation (if your hair is prone to doing it - and remember not all hair types are).

Highly recommend but take like 2 days off for it and get your stuff outside done so you don’t have to go outside looking weird af. Everything was easy to apply and instructions are easy to understand, gloves are not meant for skinny hands only which is good if you have bigger hands. Please do not cut time on what they recommend to wash it out for, if it says 10 minutes, wash it for 11! I continue to use olaplex oil and hair masks and great shampoo/conditioner, but be warned this will kill your hair it didn’t just strip it, it ate my hair so I wouldn’t recommend it, it didn’t give me great results, I now have snapped chunks of hair 1. I am about to use colourb4 in my hair to remove permanent dark brown / red that i put in 2 days ago because i just hate this colour!
