With such a slim, but sturdy case, delivering up to 24 hours of use, the X3 Wireless earbuds are a trusty travel companion. It won't cost you extra, yet it will financially support me a bit in my ongoing quest for great affordable audio.

The X3 earbuds can last up to 6 hours on a single charge, which is rather amazing for a set of earbuds with such a small size.The bud-style earbuds sit comfortably in the ears – we did not have to switch out the default ear tip size. By putting one bud in the case to recharge it, you can continue listening to the other earpiece, and control it the same way. The earbuds lasted 5,5 to 6 hours on a single charge, and the miraculously tiny case could recharge them fully two times before needing new power itself. Singers sound clear and take a prominent role in the music, without overruling instruments or other frequencies. However, on the plus sides - they look great, battery seems to last ages and the sound quality is decent.

Activate the gaming mode and the latency is pretty much gone on iPhone - the action you see on screen and the sound effects go hand in hand.

The case is rather basic aside from a single LED indication on the front to display when the case itself is charging; sadly, it does not reveal the charging status of the earphones, so you’ll have to open it up to check the earbuds themselves. Unfortunately, the Edifier X3 does not have the function of volume control using touch control or customizing the controls. FIVE STARS - At only 25 dollars, there isn't a single pair of TWS wireless earbuds that offer better value for money than the Edifier X3.

I’ve previously reviewed the Edifier TWS1 earbuds and although they are only slightly more expensive, with overall longer battery life, I think the X3’s have them beat!

The sound quality is good and there is some noise cancelling effect (not sure if it's active or passive). It was delivered to my back door within two hours, due to the pandemic restriction Wades were unable to enter the house therefore my husband fitted the machine.
