I literally can wear a new variation everyday and he doesnt really comment but if i want a compliment i spray my old bottles and immediately have him hugging me and complimenting how incredible this perfume is. As the perfume dries, you can really pick up on the cashmere wood (cashmeran) and ambergris (ambroxan), which adds texture and makes this perfume have more of a beachy vibe. It's somehing in between cologne and sugary perfume, like the echo from 90's (metallic smell ) meets 'la vie est belle'.

The vanilla-salt quality that endeared me to Olympéa is more of a background DNA rather than a marching band. I'm sure they added those notes to keep this perfume from becoming just another vanilla/white floral perfume, but I wish they had dialed them back and by a lot. Sometimes I will just remove the cover and just smell the perfume without pressing down on the atomizer.

Olympea manages to steer clear of that sickly territory while still having the brown sugar beachy vanilla forward fragrance.

as some one who loves citrus in fragrance, this is perfect for me, but I can understand how the white florals might be too much for some. i gave it two full days of concerted effort, but it fell so terribly flat on me--i got none of the warm animalic, fresh sweetness, or intriguing saltiness that other users have described.

Even though Olympea isn't at all a beach scent that I was looking for, I think it will work well for Autumn fairs, pumpkin patch harvest farmers markets and carnivals, along with Jeanne Arthes Boum Vanille Sa Pomme d'Amour, which smells like candied apples. BV stays closer to the opening of Olympea for its duration, it does have Olympea’s creaminess, but never quite reaches that simmering warmth of Olympia’s dry down. I was surprised to find one of the top notes was vanilla because I wouldn't describe it as sweet, and it doesn't smell like many vanilla based scents. Other comparisons are to that of the new CK reveal for women, and LA Rive in flames - that one similar but having more amber in the dry down.

And obsess completely ,,,, then the drydown is phantastic with the ambergris and sandalwood , warm creamy but still airy in a way , never heavy ,, this makes a great summer fragrance! Give it an incredible first few seconds, then make it settle down quite gentle and soft - and that’s pretty much what you get. OLYMPEA SOLAR EAU DE PARFUM INTENSE arrives in the same shaped flacons as other fragrances of the Olympea line now decorated with golden laurel branches which suit so well on the bottle.Legend is an amped version of the salty vanilla aspects of Olympea, with rich ambery tones that altogether evokes ambergris with a burnt, creme brulee quality. It's a perfectly pleasant, bright, sunny white floral perfume, tailor-made for light, heat and summer. It was the prominent note on top of the creamy caramel that was so sharp it was like smelling rubbing alcohol straight from the bottle and felt like a q-tip shoved up my nostril for a covid test. And I find that this is a strong perfume, it projects a lot so I have to spray mindfully when I wear this.
