While the Pop XL Silent is quieter than any of the cases that lack noise control, its noise level is closer to all of those cases in our charts than it is to the Seta Q1. Fractal fuse flair with function in the new Pop series of cases that doesn't skimp onaesthetics or flexibility. For the optimized mode, we run the GPU fan speed at 30 % and run the CPU and included case fans at the lowest speed that they will spin. Seven slot covers and vents all over the back are common fare, as is the 120mm exhaust fan, the dual-pattern power-supply mount, and the slide-out power-supply dust filter. Fractal Design’s Pop XL Silent isn’t nearly silent, but its noise levels undercut most non-quieted rivals.

The next time we visit CES or Computex we fully intend to meet up with Fractal Design and interrogate them about sales of the various coloured options of the new Pop cases. Those can be quite handy to builders who know how to use them: We’d be tempted to fit ours with an actively cooled eight-drive 2. Our acoustic test consists of three scenarios: We run the CPU at full load, the CPU and GPU at full load, and an optimized mode.

A clean and professional looking NON RGB system for those who prefer to skip the flashing lights and go for a top tier professional gaming rig. I actually agree that the Fractal is a better case in terms of being able to accommodate larger graphics cards because it's shorter but deeper. I know its fashionable to have glass sides but if you want silent, better off with 1 more side that deadens sound.

Users are free to move this part to the top of the power-supply tunnel if desired, and Fractal Design says that it will make spares available to those who wish to equip their cases with additional drives. The Pop Air RGB is a great-looking case with its orange accents, but it hardly differentiates itself in our formal test charts. Fractal Design says that the mesh is the filter, which means that users will more easily be able to see when their filters need to be cleaned. I really like the look of them, and the idea of them in general, but they just don't work for higher end components.AIO Chassis as the base of the machine, we are able to provide the ultimate in experiences never before seen in an All In One form factor. We’re very happy to see the Pop Air RGB reach mid-pack voltage-regulator temperatures, but realize that the only case to hit significantly worse temperatures was designed to prevent fans from being installed directly above the voltage regulator.

Fractal Design says that the maximum motherboard depth for the case is 280mm (11 inches) but still sticks an Extended ATX (E-ATX) label on it since any ATX-based consumer motherboard that falls between 9.A quick look around the box shows that it’s designed to please the mainstream segment of the gaming PC case market.
