With all the excellent bonus tracks included, you pretty much have an Elmore James greatest hits record. One of my all time favorite albums, but when I listened to it the first time there was a ton of surface noise on both discs.The separation between the instrumentation is spacious and the vocals absolutely erupt from the mix.

Four days later, on November 24, a snippet of a song expected to be on the album, “Blinding Lights,” appeared in a trailer for a Mercedes Benz TV advert. The pressing really isn’t the best, which is sad Bc this album if pressed at good quality would sound even more magical. The album contains themes surrounding loneliness, heartbreak, withdrawal, infidelity, and recklessness.
