Description

I got the gold & silver too. No booklet though. Bought it at an official store and they told me it is official (for what it's worth). I noticed that the record is also for sale at FNAC in France. It appears on a list of the 50 Greatest bootlegs of all time by Uncut Magazine 2019. I do not know Blur at all and there are clearly way too many versions of this album to try and figure it out. The 2023 repress is identical to all the previous versions of the 2012 reissue. It sounds great. Delighted to have a copy for a reasonable price. Parklife" on vinyl breathes new life into Blur's acclaimed album, offering a superior listening experience for fans and audio enthusiasts alike. The warmth and depth of sound unique to the vinyl format elevate the album's indelible melodies and captivating themes. A must-have addition to any music lover's collection. User Comment

I can’t believe that the pressings of this in shops at present are €42 plus! Soon vinyl will be so expensive nobody will buy it. hi everyone, does anyone know if 13 sounds better than the 1999 cd? It's the only Blur vinyl I don't have. The blur vinyl sounds good, but the original uk of Parklife cd sounds a bit better than the 2012 vinyl. That's the reason for my question.

Wedged in between retro and revisionist sits Blur. Wearing the hat of a Ray Davies-type sociologist, Blur's Damon Albarn weaves tales of modern London laced with the suspicion that indeed, the empire HAS ended. Albarn's fascination with urban decay was apparent on MODERN LIFE IS RUBBISH, but with the followup PARKLIFE, Blur embraces the modern. If anyone can point me towards this version or at least the closest thing to it, I would be very appreciative. Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Witty, ironic and irreverent, Parklife remains one of those rare albums that sum up a specific place and time (Britain in the mid-1990s).
