Crystal Palace (Montreal), inspired by The Crystal Palace; built for the Montreal Industrial Exhibition in 1860, relocated in 1878 and destroyed by fire in 1896. Williams gave Mutt's a swashbuckling feel, and homaged film noir and 1950s B-movies for Spalko and the crystal skull respectively.
