There is space to put the smartphone, but in my opinion, it is completely useless (there is enough space on a desk for a telephone). Information about the maximum vertical viewing angle, within which the image on the screen is of acceptable quality. I generally use a Thinkpad X1 Carbon (6th generation) with USB-C input (I’ll explain later why this is important). The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen. Ergonomics Information about the ergonomic functions - height adjustment, swivel angles, tilt angles, etc. VESA mount

In short, it means how many colors a screen can reproduce. This aspect is very important for photographers and to all people who are interested in working with images.

ThinkVision P27h-20 Monitor

I will update this review in the next months if I will experience some changes. Why I chose the P27h-20 I was tempted to buy a 32-inch monitor, which today is the most popular in the high range. However I have a low depth desk (50cm or 19.7 inches), and I have to stay quite close to the screen. The build quality is excellent, like all the ThinkPad notebooks. In particular, the support base is very solid and heavy and the rotational movements are very fluid and safe (does not wobble). The ratio between the horizontal and the vertical side of the display. Some of the standard and widely used aspect ratios are 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image.

Workplaces are transforming, and businesses need to keep up with the evolving expectations. Millennials and Gen Z are hyperaware of the quality and user experience they want from their work monitors. The ThinkVision P27h-20, engineered for tech-savvy professionals, fits the bill perfectly. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively. Indeed, it will be a problem for me to replace my 6th generation X1 Carbon because I have not yet found screens of equal performance on the market.Only recent Macbooks have comparable colors. The dynamic contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce over time, for example, in the course of playing a video.

To adjust the brightness it is necessary to enter the menu.I wish I had dedicated physical buttons. It is not possible to manually adjust brightness and contrast if you select the screen color mode on RGB (the most used if you work with images) or if you activate the Active Dynamic Contrast. Personally, I’d recommend the 32-inch screen only if you have adesk with a depth of 80 cm or more (31.5 inches). USB-C input The menu is not very intuitive. There are very few buttons and settings, but in everyday use, it is incredible that I am often pressing the wrong ones…I’m quite used to try new tech devices, to use different software for work, but I’m still surprised how is possible that I feel so uncomfortable using the menu of that monitor! xAUX for headphones ( it is not in the best position, because it is on the left side and too high, headphone wire tends to get tangled on the lower-left edge). Unfortunately when you connect the laptop to the monitor, you can use only the monitor AUX input, which is located too high.

There is a window at the right. You can see clearly in the reflective screen of the X1 Carbon. The P27h-20 and T470S are excellent from this point of view. I can assure you that live the anti-glare performance is even better than what appears in pictures. The storage altitude shows the maximum possible altitude for secure storing of the display. Storing it above this limit may result in damaging the display. Personally, I would recommend buying external speakers that have a USB connection, because the AUX port is in an uncomfortable position on the monitor. The thing I don’t like most about the ThinkVision P27h-20Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen. There are so many ports available and perhaps this is one of the biggest selling points of this monitor, especially if you use it with a laptop. This is a great advantage because the monitor is more compact than other 27-inch monitors and I think it would be a great solution for who is looking for a multi-display setup. Unfortunately, I don’t have a colorimeter to measure color coverage and color delta. So I can’t say anything besides the factory declared data. QHD resolution on this crisp display augments creativity and enables enhanced detailing. It delivers a premium, functional, and ergonomic experience with a stunning 27-inch, 4-side NearEdgeless In-Plane Switching panel.
