GBpatent 394325,Alan Dower Blumlein,"Improvements in and relating to Sound-transmission, Sound-recording and Sound-reproducing Systems.",issued 1933-06-14, assigned to Alan Dower Blumleinand Musical Industries, Limited

Like me, you may well cherish your beloved sets by Schnabel, Kempff and Brendel (to name but three), but Lewis surely gives you the best of all possible worlds; one devoid of idiosyncrasy yet of a deeply personal musicianship.' As for the interpretations, they are consistently fine – often superb, in fact – with surprisingly few wrong steps or disappointments, especially given the unusually gruelling performance schedule that produced them.' Through PowerShell, you can manage explicit recording consent for users or groups in your organization:

Black records for white artists

Lemieux is not the first Canadian to record Sea Pictures, and I fervently hope that Maureen Forrester’s 1985 performance from Montreal will be reissued. The Canadian contralto was well into her fifties when she recorded it with Richard Hoenich and the excellent orchestra of McGill University (for the school’s in-house label). Some strain in the high-lying lines of the final song is apparent, and throughout Forrester displays a tendency to scoop up to notes, though at least she does so in a stylish way. In general, though, her tone remains lovely and she connects deeply with music and text. The way she almost whispers ‘Yes, press my eyelids close’ in ‘Where Corals Lie’, for instance, gives me gooseflesh every time I hear it. There are also options for setting permissions regarding eDiscovery and searching in Microsoft Teams, to determine who should be able to discover meeting content in the organization. By 1924, such dramatic progress had been made that Western Electric arranged a demonstration for the two leading record companies, the Victor Talking Machine Company and the Columbia Phonograph Company. Both soon licensed the system and both made their earliest published electrical recordings in February 1925, but neither actually released them until several months later. To avoid making their existing catalogs instantly obsolete, the two long-time archrivals agreed privately not to publicize the new process until November 1925, by which time enough electrically recorded repertory would be available to meet the anticipated demand. During the next few years, the lesser record companies licensed or developed other electrical recording systems. By 1929 only the budget label Harmony was still issuing new recordings made by the old acoustical process. Lipman, Samuel,"The House of Music: Art in an Era of Institutions", 1984. Livery Stable Blues” is generally recognised as the first commercial jazz recording to be released (by the Victor Talking Machine Company). It was recorded by the Original Dixieland Jass Band (ODJB) on 26 February 1917 with “Dixie Jass Band One-Step” on the other side. On April 30, 1877, French poet, humorous writer and inventor Charles Cros submitted a sealed envelope containing a letter to the Academy of Sciences in Paris fully explaining his proposed method, called the paleophone. [10] Though no trace of a working paleophone was ever found, Cros is remembered by some historians as an early inventor of a sound recording and reproduction machine. [11]Koetsier, Teun (2001).
