If you have accidentally taken more than this leaflet recommended, contact your nearest hospital emergency department or tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you're unsure whether it's safe for you to drive while taking fexofenadine. As well as taking a non-drowsy antihistamine during the day (such as fexofenadine, cetirizine or loratadine), your doctor may suggest that you take a sedating antihistamine at night time if the itching is making it difficult to sleep. No significant differences in QTc, intervals were observed in seasonal allergic rhinitis patients given fexofenadine hydrochloride up to 240 mg twice daily for 2 weeks when compared to placebo.A positive dose-response relationship between doses of 10mg to 130mg taken orally was found to exist. The efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride 120 mg has not been studied in children under 12. Neilmed Sinus Rinse gives you 120 premixed sachets to use with a NeilMed rinse, neti pot, or sinugator. In this model of antihistaminic activity, it was found that doses of at least 130mg were required to achieve a consistent effect that was maintained over a 24 hour period. You could also ask your pharmacist for advice on other ways to help you remember to take your medicine.

If your doctor or health visitor says your baby is healthy, you can take fexofenadine while breastfeeding. However, you should check that these tablets do not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before driving or operating machinery. If you think that you need to take fexofenadine in pregnancy, talk to your doctor or pharmacist who will help you decide, or who may recommend other medicines for you. It is usedto relieve the symptoms of hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) such as sneezing, runny or blocked nose, and red, itchy and watery eyes.Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Clinical studies conducted in seasonal allergic rhinitis have shown that a dose of 120mg is sufficient for 24 hour efficacy. Or you may need to take it regularly to prevent symptoms, such as to stop hay fever during spring and summer. Other non-drowsy antihistamines like acrivastine, cetirizine, loratadine, desloratadine and levocetirizine seem to work just as well as fexofenadine.

You may only need to take fexofenadine on a day you have symptoms, such as when you've been exposed to something you're allergic to, like animal hair. It is recommended that you leave about 2 hours between the time that you take TREATHAY and your indigestion remedy. It is advisable to leave 2 hours between administration of fexofenadine hydrochloride and aluminium and magnesium hydroxide containing antacids. In children from 6 to 11 years of age: fexofenadine hydrochloride 30 mg tablet (prescription only medicine) is the appropriate formulation for administration and dosing in this population. On the basis of the pharmacodynamic profile and reported adverse reactions it is unlikely that fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets will produce an effect on the ability to drive or use machines.

If the dizzy feeling does not get better within a couple of days, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

There is very little information available, but it shows that only tiny amounts get into breast milk. Film coating: Hypromellose (E464), macrogol (PEG 400), macrogol (PEG 4000), titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (El72) and iron oxide red (E172). If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicine.Limited animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effects with respect to effects on pregnancy, embryonal/foetal development, parturition or postnatal development (see section 5. If any of these apply to you, or if you are not sure, tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If you're taking fexofenadine once a day, take your forgotten dose as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next dose. Human histamine wheal and flare studies following single and twice daily doses of fexofenadine hydrochloride demonstrate that the medicinal products exhibits an antihistaminic effect beginning within one hour, achieving maximum at 6 hours and lasting 24 hours.
