Description

Arrack is therefore one of the few/rare spirits in the world which is a distillate of a 100% natural fermentation. Ceylon Arrack is a wonderful artesan spirit distilled from the sap of the coconut flower and aged in traditional Sri Lankan Hamilla hardwood.

The resulting spirit is a smooth and complex blend of sweet and spicy notes, with a rich and velvety texture that is perfect for sipping or mixing in cocktails. You can combine the syrup with much more than your favourite Pina Coladas too, try it in a rum cocktail or pop it into a Long Island Ice Tea for something a little different from the norm. The toddy then undergoes a natural process of fermentation at our ZeroCarbon® Certified Facility before being sealed in our signature coral bottles for you to enjoy. This traditional Sri Lankan liquor is steeped in history and heritage, with a production process that has remained unchanged for centuries. Uncompromisingly dry, refreshing and distinctive, Tio Pepe is the perfect partner for savoury nibbles, olives, fried fish, Spanish ham and of course tapas.Arrack is one of the very few spirits in the world which is the result of a process involving 100% natural distillation. The toddy from four to six coconut trees is hand collected, distilled and aged to bring you a bottle of 700ml Ceylon Arrack. The sap has its own natural yeast and starts fermenting naturally once collected and must be distilled within 24Hrs of being collected (else it would over ferment and turn into Vinegar).
