To help keep me cool I also installed using velcro and duct tape two mini-CPU fans inside with a 9 Volt batteries for them to run on. My shoulders aren't big enough to fill out the coveralls, so the weight from the balls tends to make them slide around behind my arms. I left the round opening above the forehead exactly the right size to accept the concave chrome-finished reflector from the inside of a cheap flashlight. Considering how well the leather took the paint I'm considering upgrading the whole body suit to leather pieces. The technical storage or access is strictly necessary for the legitimate purpose of enabling the use of a specific service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, or for the sole purpose of carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network.

Whether you're seeking a gift for a dedicated Whovian, or adding an easy everyday cosplay piece to your wardrobe, you'll be ready to stand up as a cybernetic wonder when you wear this BBC Licensed Doctor Who Cyberman Full Zip-Up Hoodie. Also to help with the heat the thinner the better- 2mm-3mm thickness or less is realistic and ideal. The original hooks and clips used to originally attach the now absent backplate are all present and complete. You can use whatever process you find easiest when it comes to building the infrastructure of the mask, but keep in mind that you want the finished product to be as symmetrical as possible. I'm already looking into a few latex/resin options on upgrading the knee joints and shoulder/back cups but that will have to wait. The design is based primarily on the design of the Cybermen from the 1967 serial entitled "The Moonbase".

I also had to cut the legs off the Farmer John suit just below the knee to allow more breathability for my skin as well as allow for accuracy on. So he provided me with a light board sporting several LEDs on wires of various lengths, so I could experiment with various arrangements inside the box. While the design may have changed over the years, there are few Doctor Who villains that strike more fear than the Cybermen! Fabric paint is another option here but I could never apply that evenly nor be satisfied the right shade of silver. I tried putting clear coat on the pants the third time around but it didn't seem to do that much good but FYI.So after looking at the wide range of Doctors and Companion cosplayers out there I felt we were sorely lacking for Who villains.

Sackboy® has undergone a cyber-conversion with this metallic costume based on one of the Doctor’s most feared enemies – the Cybermen. Although even with a clear coat the paint had a tendency to chip off with moderate wear and tear so they always need a touch up. Okay we had a few Simm Masters, the odd Toby, Cassandra, Host - but nothing much that was *classic* and iconic. For instance, instead of flesh the forearm was supposed to contain shiny rods and lights, whilst beneath the hairline was also a metal plate. A side note on the velcro- I bouht probably about 40 feet of velcro from Home Depot and extra from Osh- the industrial strength kind in grey- and when I couldn't find grey I bought black. The back section was riveted on over the thin leather piece we crafted as the belt joint/velcro connector to make it look more uniform and hide the join. I attached the chest unit to the suit (remarkably light as it is) with two long velvro strips from the cardboard backing to both sides of the front zipper on the wetsuit. You know, I really miss those special interviews PBS used to air (even though I hated the repeated begging for money, which they really did need to keep their stations running; and yes, the wife and I used to pledge to help them with what little we could spare). Bought two of these (one for potential use as a cosplay piece and the other as a gift) and has not disappointed.

New Connectors: We took away 90% of the velcro, replaced most of the side tubes with a larger size and sewed on electronic wire "C" clamps to connect the tubes more securely (yet allow them to be removed when the suit has to come off! This Cyberman Controller helmet was used in the 1967 serial The Tomb of the Cybermen starring Patrick Troughton as The Doctor and represents one of two helmets made the story which introduces the Cyberman Controller portrayed by Michael Kilgarriff. Thanks to my good friend Alexi, a new one was crafted out of L-200 foam, using insulating 1" diameter tubes for the edges (which were cut in half and barge glued over the top/bottom for the trim) and put over the old belt to secure it back onto the suit. The decorative touches on the mask include a strip of weird black foam that I bolted around the forehead (I purchased this at American Science and Surplus, from a shelf labeled "(Extremely) Miscellaneous Foam".
