As the offshoot of long established sugar producer Ingenio La Cabaña they haven't been under the same pressures as some new distilleries and have had the luxury of allowing their rums the time needed to mature and the Indigo 8 year old was their first release, starting in 2015. Indigo has been matured for 8 years in former bourbon barrels and delivers hints of Vanilla, Cappuccino, Dark Chocolate, Lemon grass and Hazelnut. Further indulgent hazelnut cappuccino with smooth vanilla, dark chocolate, butterscotch and creamy dulce de leche. The palate is host to a packed bill of flavours, from dark chocolate, lemongrass, with hazelnuts to artisanal Dulce de Leche - divine!
