It starts off quite strong with plenty of projection filling the air, and it wears off over the next few hours, but you can still catch whiffs of it off your skin during the next four hours without needing to bring your elbow to your nose.

I quite like it and see myself using up my current bottle, it's wonderful in the winter since it has a tendency to hover and take up space in a way that not everyone would expect from a budget toilette. simple, yet elegant and top quality custom made dresses, how she never missed an appointment by her hairdresser and she never left the house without wearing lipstick and sunglasses in the summer. I blind bought this because someone mentioned it on one of the threads as being a surprising makeup scent.Dressed to kill, something spicy was had for dinner, or perhaps a spice cake/peach tart for dessert, the garden is in full bloom and our dear Liz is holding her liquor and has a boozy peach drink in her hand. This facet and the sweetness of this scent (wich is given I think by balsam, flowers and heliotrope, of course not the modern sweetness of ethil maltol) reminds me so much of the same elements present in Chloe Narcisse, with wich it shares some notes and also costruction style, I would say! this is my second time wearing this fragrance and looks like I've come to same conclusion on both occassions, which is. she must go now, off in to the club where the aroma of liquors, smoke, adrenaline, wonder and lived in stale space hug her. I was hoping for a dirty rose scent like Vivenne Westwood's Boudoir, but maybe that was wishful thinking.

Feminine, luxurious, indulgent, a perfectly warm and decadent perfume to indulge in during the colder times of the year, tiptoeing between innocence and insolence.

My argument is very much the same for all of the Diamonds (White, Emeralds and Sapphire), the parfums are the only real way to go and the only way they blossom. I want to love this one, but it has a little bit of a plastic-y type chemical smell that mixes with my skin. I think of a scene from a movie where a lady sings a sultry jazz tune in front of a grand piano in a long fancy dress.

Avon's Rare Rubies is a strength that is slightly less bold than EL's Cinnabar - and slightly bolder than ET's Diamonds and Rubies. My hair dresser and I were talking about her movies the other day and how we both loved them and I got to thinking why don't I see what others have said about her fragrances in this magazine. This frag can be easily appreciated if you enjoyed such fragrances as Lancome's Tresor, Elizabeth Arden's Red Door, Lanvin's Arpege and Yves Saint Laurent's Paris. Slightly oriental, with hints of incense and rather indescernible spices, giving it an aura of luxury and mystery, slightly powdery floral, softening it, lightly boozy with hints of liqueur making it intoxicating.

The fact that I don't detect any rose and that the fragrance develops rather cool and close to my skin might be due to the very cold winter day, and I can totally imagine how this beauty will show more dimensions when the temperatures rise.

This is beautiful, starts with a very powerful blast of aldehydes similar to the original Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds. As an aside, I highly doubt when Elizabeth Taylor was alive, she'd be caught dead wearing a fragrance like this. This floral – oriental fragrance, launched in 1993, was designed by the famous Russian Sophia Grojsman. Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. Amongst the more mature fragrances white diamonds I think is one of the best though I don't wear it much myself.

I see the similarities with Lancome Tresor the excellent Russian nose Sophia Grosjman is the nose of this fragrance. I don't get any almonds from this, but it's difficult to miss them when the fragrance as a whole is so stunning. The peach note is really noticeable in this at the beginning, and it smells ripe, juicy and so much like real peach.
