A year of change for Laurent-Perrier sees the house welcome a new champagne, Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature NV; a redefined prestige cuvée concept, Grand Siècle Iterations; and finally, a new chef de cave, Dominique Demarville. Revel in the beauty of its 16th century-style bottle, serve at 8-10°C as an exquisite aperitif and pair with charcuterie, poultry or red fruit desserts. This wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft "La Cuvée", a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars.

Michel Fauconnet joined Laurent-Perrier in 1973 and, since 2004, he has been the house's 3rd Cellar Master. Perfected at each stage of its making, Cuvée Rosé is acknowledged for its consistency and its high quality.

The maceration, lasting from 48-72 hours depending on the harvest, helps the extraction of the colour and the development of the full aromatic richness of the Pinot Noir. He selects grapes from the best areas of the Champagne vineyards, vinifies each batch separately and monitors the blends with high standards.

Their next great venture was Cuvee Rose, created in 1968, carefully selected Pinot Noir plots are sorted and destemmed before a period of maceration. Grape varietals: a majority of Chardonnay, over 50% Pinot Noir, between 30% and 35% rounded out with Meunier, between 10% and 15% + Reserve wines between 15% and 30%* to ensure perfect consistency in style. For blending, only the musts of the cuvée are used, so only 80% of the grape juice extracted from pressing. Laurent-Perrier is to be found out in the countryside, in extensive grounds near Tours-sur-Marne, in contrast to the great majority of big Champagne houses which operate from town sites in Epernay and Reims.Laurent-Perrier was established in Tours-sur-Marne in 1812 and was the first family-owned independent Champagne House. A perfect balance between freshness and finesse, the palate is full-bodied, complex and creamy, displaying great length on the finish.

This grape variety brings Brut Sans Année from “ La Cuvée ” to the House’s Champagnes with the most prestigious Cuvées bringing the freshness, the elegance and purity that make the Laurent-Perrier style so distinct. Purity, freshness and elegance – are essential characteristics, expressed in this champagne which embodies the spirit of the House. The lightness and elegance of Laurent-Perrier’s signature Champagne, La Cuvée, defines the House style. It's citrus and white fruit notes and its remarkable balance, supported by a subtle effervescence, make it an ideal accompaniment to poultry and the finest fish. Now one of the region's largest producers, they are perhaps best known for Cuvée Rosé, the most recognised rosé champagne on the planet. This wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent‑Perrier to craft « La Cuvée », a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. Mathilde hired Alexander Fletcher Keith Mackenzie to introduce and market Laurent-Perrier in the UK. Indeed, Laurent-Perrier are one of the most reductive in style, serving to enhance their fruity expression and smoky complexity. Today, with Bernard’s daughters Alexandra and Stéphanie on the Management Board, the House of Laurent-Perrier is one of the great success stories in Champagne and is the largest independent Champagne brand worldwide.

He will work with Christine Carré, Vinification Manager of the Laurent-Perrier Group, which she joined in 2000. Maceration, Vinification and Blending Grape varietal: For blending, only the musts of the cuvée are used, so only 80% of the grape juice is extracted from pressing. By the time he retired from his role in 1983 Laurent-Perrier had introduced winemaking technology to enhance all the blends creating fruit forward styles in the lightly reductive style. A legendary, lively and elegant champagne, Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée is exquisitely balanced, with notes of vine peach and white fruits, with hints of honeysuckle, grapefruit and apricot flavours very present on the finish. This is beautifully balanced with fine streams of flowing bubbles – the hallmark of the finest Champagne – leading to delicate citrus and subtle floral notes on the nose.Reviving what had been a late nineteenth century move to dry rather than the previous fashion for sweeter wine, Laurent-Perrier is champion of very dry Champagnes, evolving from wood to stainless steel in production, together with its hallmark art of blending component elements. Shows fine balance, with a vibrant tanginess to the flavors of black currant, strawberry, licorice and candied ginger. Brut L-P is aged on its lees for approximately three years and only a very light dosage is used to preserve its balance and natural freshness.
